There's a question I need to have answered. Where did Witch-King's helm go? He wore one when he left Minas Morgul, but it wasn't there when he was denied entry to Minas Tirith by Gandalf or in The Battle of The Pelennor Fields. What happeened to it?

Where did you get information about his helm? because in the movie it may just be a mistake. And if it is written in the book, then we can't be sure that J.R.R. Tolkien told us the reason.

In ROTK, 'The Battle of the Pellenor Fields',
the witch king wears his crown
Then tottering up with her last strength, she(Eowyn) drove her sword between crown and mantle as the great shoulders blowed toward her . . . The crown rolled away with a clang.
and also in the scene where he is denied entrance by Gandalf he has his crown.
Can you give a specific reference to the 'helm'?

When the Black Captain leaves Minas Morgul he is described as wearing on his head 'a helm like a crown that flickered with a perilous light'. At the Gate of Minas Tirith he wears a 'kingly crown'. I would say they are the same.
