I don't think this has been done but admittedly I didn't check every previous thread.

The idea is that the quotes used have to have been said by a creature - whether that be an animal (e.g an eagle) or something simply not from hobbit, human, elvish or dwarvish races (e.g goblins or orcs).

So the quote:
"Now we see you you nasty little creature"
Would be the spiders to Bilbo in The Hobbit.

An easy one to start off then:
"There's something mighty queer behind this."

The fox in the Shire to himself, about hobbits sleeping out-of-doors.

Oh I'm sorry I completely forgot about this! That would be Smaug when talking to Bilbo I should think.

Firefoot

Arwen Imladris

Isn't it just an old thrush? I don't think it has a name. It tells Bard where to shoot the dragon.

The Elf-warrior

Arwen Imladris, you're right. It's your turn now.

Arwen Imladris

Kath

Arwen Imladris

Uh no she won't be posting a question I'm afraid. She's having difficulty getting online so anyone who wants can take it!

LadyLúthien

*groan*

OK, never mind . . .

All else is dark to me; yet . . . we may meet before the end.

Since I'm sure that I'm correct, and it's been a while:

I do not understand all that goes on myself, so I cannot explain it to you.

Eomer of the Rohirrim

Treebeard to Merry and Pippin, feeling sorry for the Ents going to sleep.

Eomer of the Rohirrim

It's right. ;) Here's a new one.

Nerwen

The Otter-lad, when bringing home Tom Bombadil's boat.

Clarification requested:

the quotes used have to have been said by a creature - whether that be an animal (e.g an eagle) or something simply not from hobbit, human, elvish or dwarvish races (e.g goblins or orcs).

So... what about the Ainur?
