I''ve always wondered about this. Why couldn't Sauron forge another ring and fill it with his power?

because he already put alot of his power into the first one...thus a second could not be made (well, he might have been able to make a second one, but with lesser power)

Every wonder where the phrase "practice makes perfect" comes from? Whenever I do an art project, I always find that my sketches look FAR better than the finished product. I guess Sauron would've had the same problem. smilies/smile.gif
