I've been wondering...

1. What are their names and abilities?
2. What's the name of the elf/dwarf/man who possesed each particular Ring?

Well...
Their are 20 Rings of Power (including the One Ring). And how that one passed is known to most here, it's described wholly in LotR.
The three elven-rings:
- Vilya belonged to Gil-Galad, but later he gave it to Elrond Half-elven
- Narya was at first in the Havens with Cirdan, but when the Istari came over the seas Cirdan gave it to Gandalf.
- Nenya has always belonged to Galadriel as far as I know.

Then there are the seven and the nine. I do not know the names of these Rings but their are given seven to the offspring of the seven fathers of dwarves, and nine to the great Kings of Men.
I cannot help you any further.

greetings,
