We know the names of the Three rings: Narya, Nenya, and Vilya. And the One is the Ring of Power. What about the Seven and the Nine? Do they have any specific names? Are there any other names for the One?

I think Elves like the naming of inanimate objects. They've got the most gorgeous names for rivers, rocks, trees, etc.

Vilya means Air
Narya name of the Red Ring, the Ring of Fire; apparently properly an adjective, so that the meaning is something like "Fiery (One)" (SA:nár)
Nenya name of the Blue Ring, apparently properly an adjective meaning something like "Watery [One]" (SA:nen)
The Nenya and Narya are from www.ardalambion.com (http://www.ardalambion.com) , which is a credible source, I don't know why they called Nenya the blue ring when it was the ring of adament with a white stone but I know it was the ring of water
Vilya= ring of air
Narya= ring of fire
Nenya= ring of water
Vilya positively means air though.

And Narya is definately the the ring of fire, because that is stated in RoTK. I was just wondering if Tolkien ever published the names of the 7/9 because I have only read LOTR and The Hobbit.
