Admin Thread for WW LX

Welcome to the admin thread of WW LX!

This will be a simple game: 3 wolves (or 4 if there is a great influx of players, which I doubt), 1 seer, 1 ranger and 1 hunter. If you would prefer less gifteds, we can talk about it, because I have absolutely no obsession over having all of them in the game.

There will be no retractable votes and no double lynches. I would prefer the deadline to be 8 PM GMT, but if that's not good for many people, we can discuss it. We start as soon as we have enough players to have a proper game.

I'm still working on the idea of the game, but I can tell you you will not meet wolves, but kings, warlords and sorcerors who have just taken rings from Sauron and are turning into ringwraiths each night while Sauron is taking a firmer grip on their souls...

So, you can all pick up in-game occupations, if you wish (it's not necessary), and you can be black Númenóreans, or if you don't want that, then Corsairs or Haradians... kings, nobles, generals, sorcerors... anyone powerful and high class.

Hmm...I'm debating whether I should join. If I'm still alive by May 7, I can promise little to no participation that day since I'm moving to NYC. I still haven't figured out my housing situation yet, which does make a difference on whether I will have internet or not for the first several days. I probably will, but no guarantees.

Put me down with a question mark. But just to warn everyone, if I do play, I can promise that with a deadline at 4pm I probably won't be around for the second half of the Day most of the time since I have school then an internship (and hopefully another job).

I've updated everybody's occupations. Those who don't have any should submit their to me before Night1 or I will make them up.

As a sidenote, Night1 is to begin in 32 hours. (Yes, I'm going to keep 8pm GMT because that's 11pm for me and even an hour later would be too late. :)) So we're starting soon! I will try to put the game thread up before the start of Night1, but it will be there 8pm GMT tomorrow at the latest...

Just to let everyone know, this will be a horrible Day 1 for me with regards to participation. I will be on randomly for the next 4 hours or so, though not nearly as much as I'd like, then I will pop on quickly about 6 hours before the end of the Day and vote then.

I can assure you that my Day 2 participation, if I last that long, will be much better. Just bad timing for a Day phase.

And as for Groin, I'm preparing to kill him off. I'm giving him one more chance - if he appears toMorrow and posts actively, he may stay. If he doesn't appear or just writes a few oneliners, he will be killed along with the lynch victim.

Ick, sorry for missing the deadline again. I know you guys don't probably mind that much but I'm annoyed... I think I fixed my computer clock but I was distracted by a phone call and my browser was being sloow... so that's my excuse this time. However, I have to say one thing: I'm going to be hypocritical - so even if I (I hope I won't, but looks like I'm good at it) miss a DL again, you have no right to do so, a vote posted a minute after the DL does not count even if the mod is late as well.

And then another thing... Shasta PMed me and requested to be modkilled... he's had some problems with his net access. However, his wording as for whether it's a definite no-play or not was a bit unclear to me, so I'm waiting until I get a confirmation from him that he really wants to die, or until he's been away for more than two Days and then killing him off. So, you can keep that in mind while talking/thinking about him.

Apologies, but I'm really not gonna be able to participate toDay. I'm moving to NYC in hour (which means 4+ hours on a train), and I'm sure you all can understand how stressful the process of moving can be. (I started packing Tuesday night, went to bed at 5, got up 5 1/2 hours later to continue packing, which is basically all I did until 6am this morning...aside from going to a final class. Phew.)

I'm really sorry about my horrible participation so far; I warned earlier that toDay would be bad for me, but I really didn't expect to be so busy the first two Days or I wouldn't have joined. But don't worry, I should be able to fully participate after toDay.
