Tuor in Gondolin

On History Channel in U.S. listing at 10:00 P.M. today
under Clash of the Gods series says
J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy, "The
Lord of the Rings," and the real-life influences
on the work are examined.
Is this a B.B.C. import? Anyone know if it's
worthwhile viewing?

No, it's not a BBC programme as far as I know and I'm a bit of a BBC nerd ;)
I've also looked up the UK version of the History Channel which broadcasts on Sky and it's not scheduled to be shown here any time soon. It will probably be shown around Christmas time here I'd imagine.
I don't know what the whole series of Clash of the Gods is like, but I'd guess it would be worth checking out just in case it's decent.
The most recent BBC Tolkien programmes was a BBC Four production and quite marvellous too - in the series The Worlds of Fantasy, which I think may be now available on DVD.
