Don't feel bad... I'm blonde too... Literally..... Anywho.... I'm not to good at finding a date, unless it's today... Like for instance... I know that today is 1 halimath... So a good conjecture would be that tomarro would be 2 Halimath... And so on... you get my picture, right?
We know from the book that the first day of the week is saturday, (which corosponds to our sunday) and the week ends on a friday..(our saturday)
Today is a friday, which would mean that tomarro is the start of a new week.
If somebody was to ask me what date may 6th would fall on, I would need to have the calendar in front of me and do some calculating... So I can't really explain anymore. All I can say is read the stuff on the shire calendar in appendix d and try to interperate it. Or do as I do.. just follow the dates on the top of the main page every day... smilies/biggrin.gif
My advice make a copy of the shire calendar and hilight the begining of each week and write next to it 'first week' or week 2 and so on, to help you remember. then just remember that it's the whatever week of august, or something...
Sorry to not be of much help... smilies/frown.gif

Thank you! But I'm still confused like cuz the numbers on the Shire calendar go down like:
1 5
2 6
3 7
4 8
thats what confuses me.

I think the numbers going down are the weeks, but as said try interpreting Appendix D for a more in depth explanation.

i also think that the numbers going down are just weeks. instead of going left to right like ours, they go up to down..
