Christopher Tolkien, son of author J R R Tolkien, is to receive the Bodley Medal.
The Bodley Medal is awarded by the Bodleian Libraries of the University of Oxford to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the worlds of literature, culture, science, and communication.....

Incidentally, both articles include recent photos, giving the lie to the silly rumor (published in the papers!) that CT is a recluse who never allows himself to be photographed
