Of Trolls

It seems very little is spoken here about the race of Trolls.

What manner of afterlife, if any, did they have?

How, if they were so unintelligent, did the Stone-Trolls build the lock in the cave in Eriador that Biblo opened? How did they enchant their purses?

What is their relation to Ents? They seem to me to be very different, even more different than Orcs and Elves.

All that I know about Trolls is that they were large, rather stupid, and lived in the mountains. I guess I never really put that much thought into Trolls. I'm kind of curious now! smilies/biggrin.gif
