Anyone knows where I can get a big nice Middle-earth map with as much info on it as possible (towns, roads, mountains, places and s.o.)? smilies/biggrin.gif

Thanks, but the one I already have is better than any of those... I want a VERY detailed color map smilies/smile.gif

There is a colored one that you can zoom in on there, it's in the downloads section. That's the best you'll get I think.

Mhoram - am I missing it, or do those maps not show Gondolin? After the Gondolin discussion in the chatroom last Friday I was re-reading the UT story and I was trying to trace Tuor’s and Voronwë’s route from Nevrast to Gondolin, but I don’t see the ;atter on the Belariand maps.

Didn't Gondolin fall when Beleriand drowned (most of it, anyways)? Or did I miss something (which is entirely possbile! smilies/biggrin.gif)?

Yeah, you won't find it on the animated map but what about this one? http://www.cabed-en-aras.com/map02.jpg

If you want, you can buy Middle-Earth map posters. They're big and I guess their pretty detailed. I'm gonna see if I can find some on websites too, cuz I know I've seen really good ones.
