Hey I was wondering where hobbits go after they pass away? Do they go to the same place as mortal men? Or do they get a seperate little part in Mandos' Halls? If this topic has been posted before could you please tell me??? I need to know! smilies/eek.gif

Tolkien said that hobbits are a branch of the race of men, so obviously they would share the fate of men after death.

I think I read in The Reader's Guide to The Silmarilion that men's souls joined Eru Iluvatar after they died. If you believe what the post above claims, then hobbits too will be reunited with The One. üüü
