This has probably been asked a million times before (so forgive me please smilies/smile.gif ), but during a discussion recently with my Hubbie and best friends we began to discuss LOTR (as always!). We had a debate about who we would be in Middle Earth - not what we wanted but what others actaully thought! I was very pleased when after some time my best friend (od over 20 years) said I would be an elf (only being 5ft 2 - I assumed a hobbit or dwarf smilies/frown.gif ), but she said elf because of my outlook on life and the sometime aloof way I react to others. Not too flattering, but I guess true. So honestly who would others perceive you as?

Most people I know have called me an elf, but I wouldn't be offended at all to be a dwarf. The biggest insult would be being called a human (horror of horrors!) smilies/smile.gif

I have a friend who is 13-14 and is only an inch away from being 6'0". I call her an elf and she doesn't argue about it. smilies/wink.gif
I have actually been called a Gondorian woman by my mom, two of my friends and my brother. It could be because I scream, "FOR GONDOR!" whenever I get in a tough battle in a game, but I like to think that they just see me as one. smilies/tongue.gif

Hi Amanruthiel , Haven't seen you around in a while.
Like you, I am a small person(5'0") but people don't seem to think of me as a hobbit. I think perhaps, I lack that cheerfulness. I tend to be quietly opinionated. I think of myself as an Elf, but perhaps when I meet Mark12:30 I can get her honest opinion.

I'm 5'7 and people call me a hobbit! Insane world this is. I eat an entire 1 meal a day too, so I have no idea why.

Hi Raefindel - yes long time, no forum chat!!
To be honest I wouldn't mind being anything in Middle Earth at the moment - even an Orc- as long as it meant I didn't have to be at work! smilies/biggrin.gif
Better go as work to do, and my Two Towers talking book CD has just ended - least I get a bit of enjoyment during the day!
Blessings to all

Though I am slightly longer than 6 foot, people will call me a Dwarf. But only because of my manners. I'm not so goodlooking, smart enough, and as tough as a Dwarf as some say. Yet I do not know my own strength, cause I break everything :S.
greetings to all,
