Sounds cool,Kyela_Frodo .
starbreeze posted a link in the "Elven dresses" thread that has all kinds of costume clothing, for men and women alike. You might find it useful.

Welcome to the Downs! May you stay long and rot fast.. That is the Barrow way of saying "Hello, stay long and post often"
Myself, I am also just a plain old elf, without any special LotR-merchandise, if you count away my FotR-baseballcap.. oh, anyway, now I am just blabbering around.. take care!

I too own a One Ring....hmmm....
I was lucky enough to be able to purchase the set of FOTR goblets at Burger King. 4 for $5. smilies/biggrin.gif Although they're not too magical...batteries?? Anyway, those don't really count.
I made my own elvish costume, and have a various assortment of broaches and necklaces with elvish-like adornment. The way to have the best costume, is to make it yourself!

Well. I have the One Ring, and hopefully I will have the gift of Galadriel (the leaf brooch). And from the costumes I don`t really have much more... But sure, I have some of the books (the Fellowship, The Hobbit and Unfinished Tales) posters, burger king action figures, tcg cards, The Fellowship DVD and soon the Two Towers DVD (not gonna see it before the premiere though...) and much more... Now I`m the one that is babeling here... lol smilies/tongue.gif but I really need those feets and ears...anyone know where I can get them from? (some place I can buy them?)

Wow, what a collection of memorabelia.(mis-spelt) I have just got the movie poster framed up in a room with a big gap beside it waiting for the next two. I don't mind not having the 'one ring' as I never wear gold but I do have a silver one that says 'Carpe Diem' and that will just have to do. Hope you manage to find your feet and ears. I have an old duffle coat (Purple!)which used to make me look like a hobbit back when I was a student. Not very exciting eh?

An elf I always dress up as an elf. Mind you I do pine for the hobbit coat occasionally. Even though it wore out long ago it still hangs in my wardrobe and I can do a mean impression of Bilbo in a cave with Gollum when pressed. Everyone knew me by that coat, but that might have been down to the fact it was purple more than the fact I looked like a hobbit. I'll have to ask my partner, he started talking to me at a bus stop on the strength of it.

Galadriel Barbie? and other tacky Merchandise.
Hi all I'm from Sydney Australia and whilst we have everything Harry Potter thrown in our faces; from drinking cups to toothbrushes, I noticed almost immediately after the release of FoTR the total lack of merchandise for same. Yes I've seen some stuff on the net and here and there in some stores but (and this is a good thing) I haven't spotted Galadriel Barbie yet! It sounds like a very different situation in other places of the world and I was wondering if our clever marketing execs are holding back till fans are bursting with anticipation until they open the floodgates. Until then Cinderella Barbie will just have to do. smilies/wink.gif

I got lucky, and my english teacher gave us kinder eggs. Have you ever heard of them? They have little toys and figurenes inside, and I got Aragorn! I also managed to get Frodo, Galadreil, and Boromere. I created a little shrine to them in my room, with them in a half circle around the Mirror, and the Mirror has a dark marble in the basin to represent the palantir. I too have the one Ring. You used to be able to get them in Barns and Noble on bookmarks. You just take the bookmake apart!
