Does anybody know what subject Tolkien taught at Oxford (was it Oxford) university?

I think-yes, I'm pretty sure it was ancient english, or smth like that.

Sorry if I am mistaken but drooling usually either implies old age or you are atracted to someone. It depends on when you would have had him as a teacher but A- he was probebly married and B- Do you really think that he is like, hot?

Drools like, drooling Homer Simpson for Doughnuts. it doesnt mean he's attracted to the doughnut in any way apart from eating it: he really really would like to eat the doughnut. In the same way I'd LOVE to have JRRT is as a teacher/friend. I do not in any way love him except for his abilities as an author. http://www.plauder-smilies.de/tiere/grommit.gif
