Who is your fave? I like Fëanor, Fingolfin, Turgon and Thingol. But my fav is probably Turgon.

I liked Finrod most. The idea of giving up his life so that a human from a family he had pledged his help to could have a minute chance of escaping....unbelievable. Noble, noble Elf. It wasn't even Barahir he was giving up his life for. It was his son.

I would have to say it's a tie between Maedhros and Beleg. I always liked Maedhros because he was the only one of Feanor's kids who didn't have one or more screws loose. And Beleg, well, the guy risked his life to save his best friend, who then killed him. If that's not an awesome friend, I don't know what is.
