i think it would have still broken, and if Boromir had just got knocked out or somthing then he could hav gone with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli searching for Merry and Pippin, but that probably wouldent work smilies/rolleyes.gif

Frodo would've still left because his mind was made up before the incident with Boromir.
If he had lived he really would've gone after the orcs who took Merry and Pippin... he probably would've wanted revenge.
Also, if he had been with Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and Gandalf they may have been received differently at Minas Tirith.

I don't think Boromir's life or death could have changed much for the Fellowship (as people before me stated). Anyway the Breaking of the Fellowship (Frodo and Sam's departure) took place before Boromir fell.
But his being alive would have changed a lot of things in Minas Tirith. Denethor probably wouldn't have despaired to such an extent, having his elder and beloved son at his side. He wouldn't have been so hard on Faramir, forcing him to risk his life so. And Aragorn could have had to face strong confrontatiion while claiming his right.
