gandalf and narya

in the hobbit, when gandalf and the company, is surrounded by wargs, and gandalf flings down the branches he made a fire, do you think that was his own power, or was it from narya ? either way i thought it was pretty cool when he did that

Well, wasn't Narya the ring of fire? I don't know for sure but I would think that it was just his own power. If he would not even let anybody know or see the ring, he wouldn't use it. Would he? What do other people think?
