whats the oldest topic still on the barrowsdowns whcih isnt closed? Just wondering?

How long do you all think this site will go on? I have ideas of it going on 'till Tolkien books are nothing more then ancient rellics. You know, passing the place on from one generation of ghosts to another. But I'm not sure that's realistic.

i didnt realise entmoot was older than the downs. Ive been once before but didnt stay.

It is wierd seeing the barrow wight and burrahobbit with no posts at all. Out of all he people ive seen here, ive only ever seen those two before.

i dont think the downs will be gone for a long time yet. Not for the next two years and in the aftermath of the movies at any rate.

I think i may have found an older post...no wait, its from 29 days after. ah well, here it is anyway- 18 registered users (http://forum.barrowdowns.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=14&t=000008)

I think I've seen that before...the "0 posts" bear BW's name looks quite familiar.
