who is fingolfin? who is fingon? who is turgon? and PLEASE dont tell me to read the silmarillion! cos i dont want that much hassle! i just wanna know who they were. were they elves? and what did they do? just a brief summary. NO huge book quotes, or lengthy highbrow crap, please! smilies/smile.gif htanx luv myst.

Ok I won't tell you to read the Sil, but i will tell you this. Please pick up a copy of the Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien and look at every word very carefully and try to understand what it means. But, no you do not have to read it...

lol Lind, couldn't have said it better myself.

Mystra, Beren was a mortal man,a nd Luthien was a elven noble (or princess? I can never remember). Basicly they were the first Aragorn and Arwen. Cool thing is that Arwen and Aragorn are descendants of the pair, which also makes it ironic.

You might want to actually read the book, because we talk about the characters a lot on here, and you'll be totally lost. It's a good book, very interesting.
