This i found on the web. It appears that Games Workshop has taken copyright on the word Eldar, which, as I understand it, means Elves. How is this possible?? Blasphemy I tell you Blasphemy!!!!
Just check out this link
Copyright (http://www.avalon.no/page.cgi?p=1&d=23)
Don't worry about the first paragraph, since it only says that "The copyright to the following belongs to games workshop for ever!"

and "great unclean one"! That's my name!!!! But seriously, what exactly does it mean to copyright a word? Especially a word used by others previously and in other contexts? Just wait till word of this crosses to the Undying Lands... smilies/biggrin.gif

A copyright means that they are the only ones allowed to use, and all others must ask their permission before they use it.

Oh no, I just broke the law 30 times.
Harry Potter is copyrighted, so what happens if a couple with a surname of Potter have a baby, and both the mother's and father's favouyrite name is Harry? Will they be sued for using a copyrighted word?
Copyright is stupid.
