I'm going with the Noldor, simply because they learned so much over the ages, and they are more tragic, fitting with my personality.

Oh how easy it would be to choose to be numbered among the Vanyar and live countless years in peaceful bliss at the feet of the Valar. But that is not the life for me, for I love the Noldor. I would want to feel that unquenchable thirst for knowledge and desire for greatness. And I would be of the House of Feanor, for my hair is dark and my eyes are light, and my spirit burns like fire! <img src=devil.gif ALT=":evil">

Remember Blackadder 2 though.... the Vanyar are a bit too "goody-two-shoes" for me .... maybe not rebellious enough for me? :p But I have no manual dexterity so that rules out the Noldor. Probably has to be the Teleri because I love singing and living by the sea and might learn to embrace my greying hair and stop dying it .... but I do hate sailing though so that might be a problem

Mithalwen's assessment is similar to mine. I find the Vanyar prettified and irritating. I'm attracted to the Romantic drama of the Noldor but know I'd be a pretty ineffective Noldo, similar to Salgant maybe...I love the sea but am no use on board ship due to malcoordination.

Therefore I suppose I'd like to be of the Sindar. Daeron's life seems pleasant enough; music and beauty and safety and some unrequited love and tragedy, just to add some piquancy...

According to the quiz thing, I'd be Laiquendi or Eldar. (Sindarin and Silvan were next).
I'm not sure though... I have light skin, dark hair, and blue/gray eyes... and I love the woods and mountains - but the sea has a irresistable draw for me.
Perhaps I should go against the grain completely and call myself Half-Elven. :)

It is a tough choice because I like a little of it all, but if i had to choose I would choose to be of the Teleri (Sea Elves) or the Silvan (Wood Elves) race. I like that calm tranquility of the sea, the fishing, the birds, the storms (I do love to sit and watch the storms. Then there is the woods or forrests which bring their own pleasures to life. The color of the trees (would they still change color in ME like in today's world?), the animals that live in the woods, among other things. Those are what I would choose.

I took the quiz and got Laiquendi (Green Elves). O well, didnt match.

Hmm...I like that reasoning.

I think it would be cool to be like a Half-Vanyarin/Half-Avari (Kwendi? or some others...), that way, I could be the bridge between gaps; they are like the complete opposites of the Elven Kindred.
