If you were a member of the fellowship, what type of horse would you ride, what would your choice of arms be, and what role would u play?

Or, ya know, if I had to pick *something* to ride in, I'd probably have to say a Jeep Wrangler, to get me through the rocky terrain of Emyn Muil and up the slopes of Mount Doom. With some of those little smiley face things to go on top.

My horse would just have to be a nice, brown pony that followed me wherever I went.
Weapons? I would use a mace; long and spiked, horrible and brutal.
My role? Well, I would just be someone who wanted to join along the way and help them along. By "them", I don't know.

a palamino, or bay, stallion called Dante. i'd have a sword, and a bow- like aragorn did. i hate bombs, vehicles, guns, etc. it would be great if we were living now as the fellowship did in the books.

A horse? That's a question to ask my sister, but she doesn't speak English (what a shame! smilies/tongue.gif ) I rode a horse only 2 times - it was my first time and last time. Too high!

As for my role - I'd prefer just giving advice and grumbling if it's not followed. I don't claim that I'm nearly as wise as Gandalf, it's just what I like to do most! smilies/biggrin.gif

Hmm... I'd like to ride my ol' pony, Fauve (pronounced Fovey). She's a black Shetland, and would come in handy because she likes to bite people! I'd have a stick of wood to hit orcs over the head with, and my fists. If at all possible, I'd be the one who cooks, cleans, makes sure Aragorn washes his hair, stays behind and hides while they fight, then comes out and give them all band-aids. Sarcastic remarks would also be my area of expertise smilies/smile.gif.

Oh and I forgot to add a weapon and role and what not. I would be the mysterious, strong, silent, warrior type who takes over for the fallen leader/wizard type after a misadventure with a Balrog. I would carry a long broadsword with dragon handle and a short sharp dagger. Maybe some throwing knives and poison darts in a small pouch. I would not, however, allow the Halflings to go to Mordor alone. I would have to go with them. I would really dislike myself if I just let them go. Well, I would follow them as long as I didn't have some major prophecy to fulfill or anything.

(And I just have one question.. where do you people find those nifty little movin icon things. Like yours, gollum*elf*pup, that dragon and unicorn are awesome! And Lindolorian, I really like that burning ring thing. I won't steal your guys' stuff though. As you can see, my posts are pretty boring and I would like something to make them interesting.)

BUT Aragorn's job sounds fun. Arwen's too. She gets to fight (only in the movie) and she also gets the hot guy in the end.

I don't, but I always wanted to learn. I rode a horse twice and those both times were before I turned 10. So I don't count.
(I know, I beat that game in like a 3 weeks, it's so awesome!)

Horse? I don't think so lady, I'd go on foot. If I were on a horse, it would be harder to use my bow and arrows properly, and horses make so much noise, that we'd never stay secert for long. Also, I really don't like horses...
I've got the "what role would u play" all figured out. smilies/wink.gif I would find the fellowship after gandalf was killed by the belrog and i would make my identity known when they were in the middle of a fight. I would jump in and slay a whole bunch of orcs or whatever, and then Aragorn would probably say something like:
"We are greatful for you aid, brave maiden...yada yada blah blah..."
And eventually I would convince them to let me in the Fellowship in place of Gandalf. When Gandalf is reborn again they would still let me be in the fellowship because Legolas would have fallen in love with me.

Wow! it seems like everyone has a lot of imagination! Well, if i was to ride a horse it would be a Black half Percheron, half Thoroughbred. And if I was to be in the company I would be a...a...well...a...I'd just be really pretty and...um...be there...?
and if I was an evil person, and mmost likely working for Sauron, I'd probably ride the same horse except this time my horse would kick butt! ( I'd name him Altibo!)
