What are they? I had heard the Snaga from Cirith Ungol say something about a tark, but I want to find out what they are and why the orcs don't like them.

In this jargon tark 'man of Gondor', was a debased form of tarkil, a Quenya word used in Westron for one of Numenorean descent; see III, 191
Grima Wormtongue was a man.

Tark is, as correctly said, the "orkish" name for Gondorians.
Grima Wormtongue was the counsellor of King Théoden and a servant of Saruman. He bewitched the king so that he felt old and helpless, which helped Saruman in his plans. Saruman promised Grima great riches and Théodens sister-doughter Éowyn but, well, you know what happens in the end... smilies/biggrin.gif

Suddenly he stopped as if listening. Frodo became aware that all was very quiet, inside and outside. Gandalf crept to one side of the window. Then with a dart he sprang to the sill, and thrust a long arm out and downwards. There was a squawk, and up came Sam Gamgee's curly head hauled by one ear.
