Doesn't anyone else agree? http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/sad/bluecry.gif

Tell me the answer to the one you had and how you got it.
Then people might understand how to play it and then it might catch on
I looked at this topic before, and I thought it was a good idea, but maybe give some instructions to people on how to play!
I know it is re-arranging letters from word(s) to form new word(s), but
fingol is looming has stumpted me!

It was precisely that-rearranging letters in words to form Middle-Earth related word(s).
fingol is looming = Gimli Son of Gloin
The actual anagram doesn't have to have anything to do with it's answer-for example, from the other thread,
Die, Nell! had nothing to do with it's answer, Elendil.
Hope that explains it! smilies/biggrin.gif
So, someone can have a go now, as I did one just now. smilies/smile.gif

I was kind of confused as you said Fosshl was a name, so I thought that the letters f,o,s,s,h,l make up a name! Oh deary deary me! smilies/rolleyes.gif
I am reading it, just haven't finished it yet...a 1/3 of the way through-ish.
I don't really deserve to give you one, as I didn't get the last one, but I shall take you up on your offer, and present you with this tantalising brainteaser ( smilies/rolleyes.gif )

OK, from now on, you have to give a clue as to what it is (location, character, etc.), unless it seems too blindingly obvious to you (but then again, the Ghân-buri-ghân one seemed obvious to me...hmm....) Basically, I'm saying I want a clue! smilies/smile.gif Please? Is it a character, a place, a landmark, etc...
Also (I did start the game, I guess I can tweak at it a little)-and this is for purely selfish reasons-can we keep it to LotR and the Hobbit... please? smilies/smile.gif

Let's make the process a little easier - let the next anagram be a word that starts with the last letter of the previous one.
And of course, be limited to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Well, LePetit, Grit the W Masters' LP! would be Lampwright's Street,(a.k.a. Rath Celerdain), a street on the lowest level of the City of Gondor where Pippin found Bergil.
