This is my first suggestion for a new quiz thread, so be kind, eh? On that rather pathetic note...
In this quiz you ask who created a certain object, place, or wrote a book or poem, etc. Basically, whatever was created by a character (or characters).
For instance, Q: Who forged the one Ring? A: Sauron. (An easy one, yeah yeah). Try to be as specific as possible.
So, I'll start it off with:
Who crafted the Nauglamír?

The Valar
Yavanna and Nienna nurtured the last remnants of the Two Trees. And from Telperion
came the Silver Flower which Yavanna set in the vessel given her by the other Valar to bring light to Arda, now darkened by the deeds of Melkor.
These things the valar did, recalling in their twilight the darkness of the lands of Arda; and they resolved now to illumine Middle-earth and with the light to hinder the deeds of Melkor . . . Therefore the Valar sent forth Light . . . - The Silmarillion, Ballantine 2001, p. 110-111.
