Re: Telchar #2
OK here is how I go about the quiz room - If Im not certain - and don't confirm by looking in books I always end with a "?" - If I feel very certain and don't confirm by looking in books I always end with a "!" - If I certain and Im correct when confirming with the books I end with nothing... so I was guessing from memory...
In what year did Balin go to Moria???

His father was a "burned-dwarf" ?
because he died at the battle of the Dimrill Dale?
Where Dain killed Azog?
I don't remember the date at present.
They couldn't bury the dead because they were so many, so they burned them and hauled all their gear on their backs.

Re: Telchar #2
Harrowdale were under command of the first marshal of the mark, which usually was a title appointed to the king, but during the WoTR Theoden wasn't able to do much because of his premature old age - which probably is the reason the Appendix to LoTR says that Dunhere was the Lord of Harrowdale.
