Legolas was the heir of Thranduil (I guess
Aragorn was teh heir of Elendil
Elrond was the heir of Eärendil
Arwen was the heir of NOBODY!
So Arwen is my guess!

Aragorn was not an Elf. Although Elrond was only half-elven himself.

Legolas -
Was the only one of these who did not have a choice about being numbered among Men or Elves
Was the only one not descended from the immense Beren-Luthien-Tuor-Idril family tree

Re: Odd Man Out 2
How do you know that for sure? Does it every say at what time Gandalf was born? Im not being a smartass, Im just curious. And anyways, by saying that you left Pippin out. He is not a Dwarf, Man, or Elf either.
This is a very hard question Falmar, but I will give some guesses.
Pippin because he did not live to be over 200 years old?
Gimili because he had never used a Sword?
Legolas because he was never wounded in the wars?
Gandalf because he was the only one not to live in a hole?
Pippin because he never sailed over the sea?
I personally think if any, my last guess is right. But might as well rule out some other options while Im at it.
And on a side note.. Summer time! It feels so nice not having school for 2 months.

Pippin is a hobbit, and hobbits must be decended from men, right? Who else would they be? They are not like to Dwarves, or Elves. But you do have a point.

Odd Man Out
Gandalf man -
Just so you know, almost all of your guesses are wrong. We don't know if Gimli ever bore a sword; we don't know if Legolas was never wounded and if he wasn't, we know that Aragorn also came out unscathed; As far as I know Aragorn never lived in a hole; And Aragorn did not sail over the sea.
I think we should all try to keep multiple guessing to a minimum, and confine are guesses to things that are at least factually correct.
Anyway, I guess Legolas since he was the only one present at Isengard who was neither addressed or referred to by Saruman.
Hey Falmar, how about a little feedback?

Okay, I made this too obscure. The answer I was thinking of was Galadriel, because she was the only one who was not more than 50% Teleri by blood (she and Luthien were exactly 50%). Sorry. It seemed like a good question at the time. I'll give it to Theodred because he said Galadriel.

Feanor and Maedhros took an oath to recover the Silmarils.
Smeagol swore to 'save the precious'.
Hurin swore an oath never to reveal the location of Gondolin.
It isn't mentioned that Aragorn ever took a formal oath.

Aragorn was correct, although I had a totally different reason -- but since your explanation actually sounds better than mine (assuming Aragorn never swore a formal oath), you take the next question, Falmar.

Re: Easy!
No that wasn't it either, although I guess that is also correct (but was Feanor captured by Morgoth? He was killed by the 'rogs I know . . .). I obviously didn't ask a good question because there are too many correct answers.
Anyway, I'll give my version -- all except Aragorn -- either alone or with others -- stole something by violence, with death resulting. Feanor (with the other Noldor)-- the Telerin ships, many elves killed. Maedhros (with Maglor) -- the 2 Silmarils, the guards at Eönwë's camp killed. Smeagol --- the One Ring, Deagol killed. Hurin -- the Nauglamir, Mìm killed.
Either Falmar or Sam may ask one.
