I am going to attempt to reanimate this game which has mouldered dead in the Barrow quite some time. I always thought that this was a fabulous game (not least because I invented it).
Cerin Amroth is to Elanor as the Barrowfield of Edoras is to ______?

Re: Analogies (again)
Elanor is the name given to the small golden-star flowers that grow on the Hill of Cerin Amroth. Likewise, Simbelmyne are the small white flowers that cover the mounds of the dead Kings of Rohan.

You are taking the passage too literally, they are made of silma. What's silma? I don't know. Look under sil in the appendix.

Okay, I read some about Felaróf. I am assuming that there is much more about him in the Sil, which I have yet to read.
I also don't know any history of Isengard, really, so it's going to have to be a big guess here. What I want to say just seems to easy and mosy likely wrong, to be correct. However, I am going to go ahead and say Saruman.
I know, I seriously doubt it...and this may get a good laugh because it may be way off the mark, but it's another post all the same. Oh well...

Saruman is somehow, well, not wrong, but not the correct answer. "Partly right" would be a very suitable expression considering the answer I am thinking of...

Re: Analogies (again)
Good answer as usual, Galpsi.
Although it is not what I had in mind, I am content with yours because it is more plausible than my megere and assumption-flawed analogy of Felarof as the idol of Rohan's heraldic symbol of the White Horse and the White Hand of Saruman as the heraldic item of Isengard. (That is also why I found my "partly right" reply so extraordinarily witty )
