Am I the only one who thinks that the right answer for the 2000 question is Maeglin, which the quiz is claiming as wrong?

According to the Silmarillion, Aredhel and Eol's son's name was Maeglin.

Why on earth should Merry's real name be "Kalimac Brandagamba"?!?!
Aredhel's son is Maeglin! I asked the Sil and everything!! Who is Lómion? (I agree with you elengil! smilies/biggrin.gif )
And who is Alboin/Herendil? Not mentioned in the Sil nor LotR anyways.
I would really appreciate some answers!

Who is Lómion?
Lómion is Aredhel's name for Maeglin, in Noldor, which Eol despised for his own lunatic reasons (the language, that is, not "Lómion". I don't think he ever knew about that name.) Eol's despite is why she kept the name secret.

The question about Lómion was "what did his mother name him? So the correct answer was Lómion.

In Appendix F or RotR, it states to Merry's real name in Westron was Kalimac Brandigamba.

According to The Lost Road and Other Writings, C Tolkien says that Herendil was Elendil's son.
