View Full Version : Guess the scene from the pic

I just started a similar thread in Quotable Quotes, but you have to guess the quote. In this one, you will be given a picture, and you have to guess what scene the picture was taken from, and what movie.

Let's start with a hopefully easy one.
http://www.ninecompanions.net/gallery_pics/tttpics/legolas/ttt_legolas_23.JPG

I get all my pics from Ninecompanions.net (http://www.ninecompanions.net/galleries.html).

The Saucepan Man
04-28-2003, 05:11 PM
It's from The Two Towers. Is it the scene just before the attack of the Warg smilies/mad.gif Riders?

elven maiden Earwen
04-28-2003, 05:22 PM
It in The Two Towers when they hunters meat the riders of Rohan and Eomer. "You would die before your stroke fell"?

Airehiriel
04-28-2003, 10:14 PM
Earwen is right, but good guess Saucpan Man!

You're turn Earwen.

That is the scene in TTT where Grima is talking to her about being like a morning of pale spring...blah blah blah...and then she says "Your words are poison." And walks out.

LOL Earwen!!! But what he is really saying is "I release you from the spell." It's the scene in the Golden Hall where Gandalf is trying to heal Theoden.

Ah, the "second breakfast" one is truly a classic. smilies/wink.gif Pippin must have been REALLY hungry if he actually caught that apple after getting smacked in the head with it... smilies/tongue.gif smilies/rolleyes.gif

Sorry I took so long. I kept forgetting to go find a picture! Here's the new one. (http://www.warofthering.net/movies/photos/thefateofthering/imagepages/image15.shtml)

The Saucepan Man
05-06-2003, 07:06 AM
Wow! That's a difficult one. It looks like Sauron, so is that him "exploding" after Isildur cuts his finger, Ring 'n all, off with the remains of Narsil, in the Battle of the Last Alliance?

Airehiriel
05-06-2003, 12:17 PM
I think that is a good guess, Saucepan Man. I think that would have been my guess as well. What do you say, Firondoiel?

Firondoiel
05-06-2003, 01:42 PM
The Saucepan Man is correct. Good job!

The Saucepan Man

Now, what's going on here:

That's Andy Serkis in a studio acting the scene where Gollum is eating the fish from the forbidden pool. I believe he is saying "We must go now?"

Cheers, Bugs. smilies/smile.gif

Got a problem with your picture, Mithisilien, and it also explains why your personal picture doesn't show up for us. You can probably see 'em, though. The problem is that both of those pictures are on your computer. See how when you click properties for both of 'em, it says 'files//C:' or something like that? That means it's on your computer, your C drive. You have to get a picture from an internet site or upload those pictures to one. I don't know anywhere that allows hotlinking (linking the picture directly). You'll probably have to go to a site like Google (http://www.google.com) and search for a picture from Lord of the Rings. That's what I did. <3.

Er, this game is Guess the scene from the pic, not Guess the quote from the pic (which is in the Quotable Quotes forum). So you don't all need to be giving quotes here.

And surely someone has already given a line from the correct scene and therefore answered the question, Horse-Maiden (even if it's not the exact one that Aragorn is saying).
