Denethor is the only one who didn't meet Galadriel - She's Elrond's mother in law (or mother in elf-law) and Gimli met her in Lorien (and he's in love with her).
close?

Gimli is the only one who is no lord or leader during LotR.
Denethor - Minas Tirith
Galadriel - Lothlorien
Elrond - Rivendell
Gimli - ???

Try this one:
Sam
Aragorn
Faramir
Frodo
Bombadil
Azaelia of Willowbottom

Bombadil, as he is the only immortal. He is also the only one to appear in only one book of The Lord of the Rings (He's mentioned in THe Hobbit)

Frodo cause he's the only guy without a doll (or gal if you prefer)....

I'm going to say Sam, because all the others have multiple syllables in their names, and Sam has one...(in the shortened form, that is).
Too inane?
