Where do the Helmingas live? I remember hearing it somewhere, but I forgot where.

I'm going to give this a try. The Helmingas were, I believe, from Rohan. The actual region may be Westfold, I say that because the people waiting at Helm's Deep with Gamling were from Westfold.

I think you are right alaklondewen. I remember reading that the people of Rohan were called Eorlingas, the people of Eorl. So I guess that the people of Helm's Deep were called Helmingas.

As Joy pointed out, the "-ingas" ending in rohirrim seems to indicate "the people of", so Helmingas must be the people of Helm (and not Helmlingas). I wouldn't know the singular, though. Remember, Helm was a person. Helm's Deep were named after him. So Helmingas would be the followers of Helm.
And it's éored, not eored (I know, this one was too perfectionist...)
