Does a Sinda or other Dark Elf, sailing to Valinor say in the Second, Third or Fourth Ages, become a High Elf under the majesty and light of that land? Or do they not, because they did not see the Light of the Trees? I would have thought they would remain Morquendi, having not seen Aman in it's 'Noontide', but become High Elves because of the still remaining power and wisdom of that land.

I also share the same point of view as Gwaihir. Even if the Silvan elves and dark elves sailed to Tol Eressea or Valinor during the second and third ages, it would not make them Calaquendi.

In the annexes of the Silmarillion, the "Quendi" tree/root diagram stated clearly that Calaquendi were "light elves" that "went to Aman in the days of the two trees" Morquendi were elves that "never saw the light of the two trees"
