I wonder if sauron would have been destroyed if Isildur
would have cast the ring into the flames o f Orodruin?
And isnt it said that Sauron wasnt destroyed totally but would come back again after.... many many years after Frodo's great deed?

Of course he was not, only he lost the ability of rebuilding his fea. As for him coming back - the final battle is still to come.

Would Isildur destroy the ring immediatlely, Sauron would become powerless ghost some 3000 years earlier than he actually did. Still, things might have been different, but they could not have been better

The final battle is still to come yes, but Sauron would/will not be a part of it.

My post was just spit and polish.

A good way to remember the difference between Fea (Spirit) and Hroa (Body) is to associate Fea with Feanor 'Spirit of Fire'.

If the ring had been cast into the pit of fire earlier, Sauron would have fallen after the last alliance. He was defeated firstly by the ring being cut from his hand, and then he would have been utterly cast down with it's destruction shortly after if Isildur had cast it into the fire of Mt. Doom. Thus the quest would have never come to pass. Perhaps Bilbo would have been killed in the orc mountain where he found it, although it wouldn't have been by Gollum's hand, but by something else most likely. Remember, Gollum would have never came to be. Middle Earth would have drastically been changed, seeing as how the elven rings would have been affected byt he destruction at that time.

You're right. Middle-earth would have been dractisslay (spelling) changed and maybe for the worst. the elves would have passed out of Middle-earth ages ago. Aragon may have never came to be. Bilbo may have not been born. Gandalf and the other wizards would have never have come to Middle-earth.

But what is the final battle?
