I have pictures I use for wallpapers. Where do you get the cursors, etc.? Sounds interesting!

Desktop Themes (http://home.wanadoo.nl/fred.kitty/fredscornerindex.html)

Click on 'Desktop Themes' then 'Movies' then 'L'. Scroll down until you find Lord of the Rings. Download the theme you want, install and go to the control panel themes section. Select it as your theme smilies/smile.gif

Coolo! I might just do that! I have a Legolas collage background but no cursor things yet. Sounds like something I would do though! Thanx for the link!

I have my own thing going on. I have a picture of Merry and Pippin singing at the Green Dragon for my desktop. All my sounds are clips from the movies. When I turn my computer on, I am greeted with:

Hey, ho to the bottle I go,
To heal my heart, and drown my woe,
Rain my fall, and wind my blow,
But there'll still be many miles to go
Sweet is the sound of the pouring rain
And the stream that flows from hill to plain
But better than rain or a rippling brook,
Is a mug of beer inside this Took!

I love that. Then when I leave I have the sounds from the scene in the extended FotR where the elves are leaving Middle Earth, and Frodo and Sam talk about it, and Sam says at the end, "I dunno why, but it makes me sad."

Plus I have other sound clips too, like Pippin with the whole, "luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, supper" thing. And Treebeard saying, "Little Orcs, Boraroom." And cool stuff like that. I got all my sound clips from Ninecompanions.net

Well, that screwed up. It just installed a virus scanner instead of the LotR thing and took up quite a bit of memory. Deleting it. smilies/mad.gif

I had a theme on my Dad's computer for a while, but it crashed and I lost it.
On my computer, which is a Mac, I have dozens of desktop pictures, several screen savers, and also an assortment of sounds some of which are awaiting a program to assign them to events...

We once had a Shadowfax wallpaper and a Frodo screensaver, but then we switched computers and now it's all X-MEN BABY, YEAH!

*coughs*

But I don't love it or anything...

If you've got Windows XP, try ThemeXP (http://www.themexp.org) for some good stuff, including boot screens, login screens and desktop wallpapers.

Nice, Airehiriel, that sounds so cool! I gotta set my computer up like that...

I did set up that pic of Sauron's Desktop as my desktop, but my mom made me take it off because it was starting to drive her nuts; she kept trying to turn of all the little windows in the pic... smilies/rolleyes.gif So, yeah, I'll have to figure out something else...

I have my own 'personal' account on my computer (Win 98 users, settings, control panel, people) so I can have whatever theme I want and no one cares because they don't get it! Woohoo!
