Hey!

Just a little thing I’ve noticed – at the council of Elrond when Elrond says “You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring,” the whole Fellowship look like they’re posing for a family photo!

Yea actually they do look a bit like that dont they. Also if you have the extended version of f.o.t.r when they are departing from Rivendell it also looks like their posing for a family photo!

Boromir: Pippin, would you quite squirming!

Pippin pushes Merry who bumps into Legolas, his hair gets slightly tossled.

Gandalf: Shut up, or you will both be out of the picture!

Merry and Pippin look at each other sticking their tongues out.

Frodo sighs like he's really annoyed.

Legolas hides the brush he was just using.

Gimli farts and they all wrinkle their noses.

Aragorn: Oh, stop don't take it yet. *as he waves hand under nose.

Legolas: I can't take pictures under these cirumstances!

Merry and Pippin: Are we done yet?!

Their facial expressions look like extreme annoyance. I bet Elrond is taking the picture and is trying yet again to get the camera to work.

Elrond: dang it... *camera snaps in two*

I dunno what's goin' on right there, but Boromir looks extremely handsome in that photo.

I can just see it during their retirement, they pull out the photo for prosperity:

"Wow... I look young in that picture. Was I ever really that young, Merry?"

"No, Frodo."

Camera Man: Allright, tall people in back, short people in front...Aragorn, stand just like this *stands with hands crossed in front of him* ... and Legolas put your hands at your side and--yeah that's it--now, can I have you put your chin sort of up like--yes, very good, very good ... ah, Gandalf, just – mm hmm that’s fine, and hold your staff up like *places staff in Gandalf’s hand and folds fingers around it* yes just like that … Boromir that’s fine … *shoots an annoyed glance at Pippin* can you stand still for a second?

*Pippin stops trying to pull on Merry’s hairs*

Allright, Sam, Frodo, that’s fine … Mmm, Merry, stand up strait, don’t slouch your shoulders. Fold your arms maybe? Yes that’s good. *looks at Pippin, begins to speak but shakes his head and changes his mind* *steps back a bit and looks at the fellowship, measuring the photo with his fingers; Gimli comes up behind him*

Gimli: Right. Where do I go?

*Camera man turns and looks dismayingly at the dwarf*

Camera Man: Umm, why don’t you stand up here by Aragor—no, um…kneel here in front of Frodo? No. How about between Sam and Frodo?

Sam: No way, I promised Gandalf I wouldn’t lose him. *Camera man roles eyes exasperatedly*

Camera Man: Very well, just stand there in front of Boromir.

Finally everyone’s situated and Camera Man gets behind the camera. He looks through the lense, and no one’s smiling.

Camera Man: *mumbles* looks like a prison photo … *speaks up* Can we smile a bit?

Elrond: JUST TAKE THE PICTURE!

Everyone looks to the left of Camera Man. Startled, Camera Man takes the picture while their attention is averted.

Elrond: Fine! You are now the Fellowship of the Ring!

*people move way hurriedly*

Camera Man: whoops, we’re gonna have to do one more fellas … seems I … I … *looks around* Ah well!
