Cookie Monster's a Muppet from Seasame Street.

Miss Piggy should deffinetly be Arwen, and Kermit should be Aragorn (because Miss Piggy and Kermit always have to have a little love story). I agree with eleanor, Rizzo and Gonzo should be Merry and Pippin (I loved them in the Muppet's Christmas Carol!). Galadriel and the Lothlorien gang should be that rock group (sorry, I can't remember what they're called; Galadriel would be the girl with straight blonde hair and big lips). Bert and Ernie should be Legolas and Gimli (or maybe Frodo and Sam.... Hmm....).

How about Dr. Bunsen Honeydew as Gandalf? I guess that would make Beaker Legolas? He doesn't seem very Legolas-ish except for the height, but it would be cute to see him shrieking "Mi mi mi mimiiiiiiii!" When the Balrog appears. On the other hand, if all the elves are pigs, Link Hogthrob could be Legolas. smilies/biggrin.gif

Bean the Bunny is unbelievably cute and quite a bit sensitive. He'd make a very good Sam, though I'd doubt he'd be very hard on Gollum. I can't see Bean calling anyone "Stinker." We also have to work the penguins in somehow. Perhaps they could be the siging elves on the way to the Grey Havens? smilies/smile.gif

I totally think Frodo should be Kermit and Fozzy as Sam with Piggy as Galadriel. That way when they get to Lothlorien there can be that really funny sexual tention betwee Frodo and Galadriel and when Frodo offers the ring to her she can think he is proposing! And Gonzo should be Sauruman and his chickens the Uruk hai. It would just be too funny to see Rohan over run by chickens! And totally on Animal as Gollum-just imagine him having the split personality debate with himself. It would be so cute!

Maybe Gandalf should be Pepe the shrimp, "That ring is very bad, ok." :D Treebeard could be Sweetums (big brown shaggy guy with a couple of gold teeth); Tom Bombadil could be Dr. Teeth. Darn, I can't think of anybody for Eowyn; maybe she can be a human too seeing as I cast Faramir as a human. :confused:

But, oh gosh, I know all these characters but I don't know there names. I love them a lot though. They are all a major part of my childhood, but the old guys, who could they play? Well they could be both Theoden and Denethor. But remember they are always on the side making fun of the major characters (they never, never have major parts). Maybe they could be a pair of annoying people who pop up everywhere. Like they could be beer drinkers in Bree, and people in the crowd during the corination in Gondor.

I think though that Kermit would have to be Frodo, and Fozzy most definitely Sam. They are best buds in all the Muppet movies, so they have to be best buds here (and besides Kermit is much too not brave to play Aragorn).

I think that the two idiot pigs (I think their names are Randy and Andy) should be in this. They're so stupid! I like Gonzo and Rizzo being Merry and Pippin, so I'm not sure who Randy and Andy should be. They do like to annoy Ms. Piggy though, so maybe they should be Celeborn and Haldir if Piggy's Galadriel.

Oooh! Remember the Spamella Anderson pig lady from The Muppet Show? She should be either Eowyn or Arwen, and Piggy should be the other. Then Piggy can get all jealous when she sees Kermit-agorn with Spamella.

Maybe Pepe the prawn (known as 'the shrimp guy') should be Boromir! "You should give me the ring, okay?" "It's a conspiracy, okay?" "I had this funky dream, okay?" "It is a gift, okay?" Then Faramir could be a normal guy, so it'll look really funny when Denethor says that he likes his seafood son over the human.

Elrond should definately be Sam the Eagle. "You must destroy the ring! It is the American Way!... Er... It is the Middlearthian Way!"

THe Swedish chef should be Sauron. His singing fruit could be nasgul. Gonzo could be sarumon and his chickens should be uruks.

It'd be great if we could make a tally: Miss Piggy gets so many votes to be Arwen, and so many to be Galadriel; Kermit gets so many to be Aragorn and so many to be Frodo etc.
