I'm sure there are many lovers of great art among you fellow Barrow-Downers.
Well, you have come to the right place, for here is the first ever definitive collection of the Great Painters' interpretations of Tolkien's work.

Enter the Gallerie l'Arte du'Tolkien (http://flyingmoose.org/tolksarc/gallery/gallery.htm)

LePetitChoux, that's brilliant! smilies/biggrin.gif I found myself laughing out loud many different times. The strange thing is, alot of it made sense, and I could see Tolkien's works in the paintings, either explicitly or abstractly. Thanks!
Peace

That was great! I wish they had spelled "Cirith Ungol" correctly, but that's just picky little me. Everyone check out the site! It's really worth it!

*chokes and sputters* That was brilliant! I believe I've seen it before, but it was a while ago, and I thought this was really funny. I especially liked the picture of Gandalf, Denethor, and Pippin... smilies/wink.gif

Yes, I certainly recommend the rest of the page... Once a player wins, all the other players have to Praise Them With Great Praise! smilies/tongue.gif

Be fore-warned: The 'Tolkien Sarcasm' page is not for those who cannot take a break and see the lighter side of Tolkien's works.
I, for one, thought it was superb! Thanks for the link! smilies/biggrin.gif

Anyway, though ten billion years is long enough to endure
from all of you, this is IT... I am GOING... I am leaving NOW...
GoodBYE! And with that Bilbo leaped up, tore all his clothes off,
scattering them about the astonished guests' heads, and ran from the
great Hut screaming and flailing his arms.

Hee hee...I was laughing so much...my cat was looking at me funny.......and he's USED to me being strange! Everyone needs to see that page....its so good...click on the link..NOW! smilies/biggrin.gif smilies/biggrin.gif smilies/biggrin.gif
