No lie. When I took my brother to the local 'Toys R Us' I found a whole section devoted to LOTR. Stationary, action figures, even a Gollum mask!!! Me not having much money, I only bought the complete set of stationary. Math isn't so boring when you get to measure with Sam, Frodo and Gollum!

oh, cool!! Thanks for the info! A whole section on LotR, huh? I'll definitely have to check ours to see if they have that too! And RotK stationary would be cool...

Sweetness! I know where I'm going this weekend... So, do they have a good variety of Lord of the Rings? Cause everywhere I look has a pathetic amount... Maybe I've just been looking in all the wrong places

There were ballpoint pens, ruler, rubbers, pencils, gel pens. And other various merchandise.

I went to Toys 'R' Us a few weeks ago and the HUGE section that is usually devoted to *ahem!* The Tweenies (including stupidly loud music) is completely Rotk. They even had a Legolas archer set with the gauntlets and bow and everything, and a Frodo set, complete with blue Sting.
Haven't bought the stationary yet, but I will when I get more money. I have none at the moment! smilies/mad.gif

Hi Rindoien,
Couldn't resist replying since this thread was at the top.
The correct spelling is 'stationery', not 'stationary', when referring to writing materials, especially writing paper and envelopes.
But it appears that you are describing a geometry set or math set consisting of rulers, compass & pencil in a case.
Precision is just as important when choosing words as when bisecting an angle. (Is it called 'The Lord of the Rings' or 'Lord of the Cuff Link'?! smilies/wink.gif )
Lesson over.

That would make letters more fun.
Imagine writing to someon who doesn't like LOTR.

Gosh I may have to go stop by there
I was thinking of going on a little LOTR shopping spree this weekend anyway. I really want to go to Barnes and Noble and buy the ROTK Visual Companion, and it would also be nice to check out the toys and stuff like that. I don't collect the figures though, we have bought one, and it was a Legolas one for my sister. If they have another Legolas (ROTK edition) I may as well just buy it (for one of her x-mas presents)
