I don't think Sauron is *really* evil...i just think he's a bit misunderstood...every now and then don't you feel like making an all-powerful ring to rule all the earth and kill all the races under your awesome power?? smilies/biggrin.gif

Well if you look at the thread in Novices and Newcomers about a modern day quest you will see that I think there is good in all.

I bet Sauron just needed a hug.

I think there's good in everyone too. I believe everyone has both good and evil in them to some extent, some have more of one than the other. But nothing is completely evil, just like nothing is completely good. So yeah, maybe Sauron did just need a hug.

I think he just needed a good counseler! Maybe he was having some difficulties with a relationship or in school or something...he just needed a way to focus his creativity...

I personally think that his girlfriend dumped him for a hobbit or an elf or something - he needed to take his anger out on someone, right?

Hey, that's what I keep telling people about me! They don't believe me either.
Hm, could have been girl trouble but I was thinking he got fired. Or maybe flunked a class. Perfectly understandable in any case. If someone had simply directed him to a good anger management course I'm sure the whole thing could have been avoided.
