On an upcoming episode of South Park, they will spoof LotR. From the commervial, this epsiode looks really good. there is even fun being made of harry potter. it will come on...on 11/13, 10:00 pm on the eastern coast, on comedy central.
...and yes, i am a die-hard south park fan.

Hayy, do you know when it'll be on Comedy Network? I wanna see it too! It sounds great! I'm not a DIE HARD South Park fan, but I think it's VERY cool! Can't wait to watch it!

well, it was on wednesday. and it was veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery funny. they will re-air it saturday, but check your local listings.

hahaha! My friend's bf told her about it, (he really likes South Park) so I recorded it, and I love it so much! I don't even know why, but I was laughing and crying at the same time when the one guy said "someone's back there" and the guy who was playing Gandalf said "It's butters, he's been following us for 3 days..." My contact fell out too when I was wiping my eye. lol smilies/rolleyes.gif

I thought it was a very clever spoof. I especially liked the ending when Butters wouldn't let go of the tape!

I went a South Park web site and this is what they had to say about the episode:

The boys are on a mission: return “The Lord of the Rings” to the Two Towers Video Store in Conifer. But this is no ordinary copy. Butters (“My precious…”), the evil sixth graders, and the boys’ parents all try to steal the ring, er tape, from the boys. Will they succeed? What do you think? J.R.R.
