OK, everyone. I know I'm a bit late with this, but it's finally here. It's now officially Dragon Appreciation month.

Actually, goblins being Orks, they already have a month, and ought to be popped off anyway.

Meanwhile, this being Dragon Appreciation Month, I wish to compose an ode to the four great dragons immortalised in the Lore of Arda:

Glaurang, Smaug, and Ancalgon,
And Scatha too were all dragon.
Beasts of scaly hide and horny snout,
On beds of gold they longed to pout.
Till came the day when lasted they fought,
And by mortal warriors killed on the spot.

Okay, it's not accurate, it doesn't have the right rhythm, etc, etc. C'mon, these are DRAGONs after all, not Ents or something nice like that.

Personally, I think we should take the Istari out. There's only five of them, and only two of them are probably alive by now. They wouldn't complain.

About the Dragons: They are slimy, and icky, and I mean that in a good way.

I'd certainly be happy with that, after all that is my birthday month also. Yet I can't help but wonder if the Men of Middle-Earth aren't going to feel left out. They don't get a month of their own. Maybe we should have a Mortal Appreciation Month, and divide that into Man, Hobbit, Dwarf, and Oliphaunt(?) Weeks. That would satisfy even more people! :D

There big, they fly (well most of them do) AND they breathe fire. And lets not forget the big hoard of treasure they steal from the Dwarves and then sleep on it! I love dragons!!!!
