DISNEY MOVIES.... a tribute of me and all the others out there that grew up with Mary Poppins and Aladdin... smilies/wink.gif

Some are obvious. Can´t you just SEE eowyn singing that song from Mulan, the one where she´s like "If I was myself, I would brake my family´s heart...."

That´s all I can think of right now... ypu go on...

When Frodo got stabbed at Weathertop, if only Aragorn would have sang "Just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down..." from Mary Poppins.

Disney does LOTR sounds scary!!!! Cute little animated hobbits!!! AAaaaaahhh! Though it might be better than the other animated one. But disney would cute-i-fy the story and chariters, they might even potray them as animals!!!!

Yeah.... and Frodo has a little Monkey/Dragon/whatever at his side to guarde him and be funny... SCARY!!
And just imagine Galadriel singing "Human and the elf" from Beauty&the Beast

Uruk-Hai singing, "Hi-Ho, Hi-Ho, It's Off to Work We Go!" as they are running through the forest...

Imagine the Council scene being made into a big, dramatic musical sequence? *Shivers at the thought of Hugo Weaving singing*

No, no, no, no! It's not the Uruk-Hai who sing that song, but the Dwarves in the Hobbit!

Arwen should stand on a balcony at Rivendell, looking into the distance and sing "I'll Be Your Candle on the Water" (from Pete's Dragon) while thinking of Aragorn. *Sigh* How romantic.... smilies/rolleyes.gif smilies/tongue.gif

LOL! even though a disney LOTR movie would be cuter and a musical, they would maybe do the best job animating it. It would probably end up better than the earlier animated movies smilies/wink.gif

"One day my Prince will come" by Éowyn...heh heh.

It would probably end up better than the earlier animated movies I think it would be extremely hard for them to make it worse than the earlier animated movies.

How about Arwen singing "Part of Your World" to Aragorn? Well, the actual song doesn't make much sense... but the title does. Kind of. smilies/rolleyes.gif

Are you getting bored?? Well, if you want to move on to a different topic, there it is...

LotR meets Princess Diaries/ Bridget Jones
We can, of course stick with Disney. Whatever you like best.
Go on, post! smilies/smile.gif

LoL, LotR meets Aladdin, can't you see it?

(At the Ford, book-version)
Nazgul #4: Ack! The halfling's got a sword!
Witch King: You idiots, we've all got swords!

As for the Princess Diaries, I can see Frodo on a rainy night, trying to escape from orcs...

Frodo (miserably): I'm invisible, and I'm wet.

Arwen(mia) is tortured thru good-elven-maid-lessons with Galadriel and her poodle, while Aragorns sis analyzes her to death because she can´t tell Glorfindel she doesn´t love him....

LoTR Meets Disney..hmm, interesting. I can just see Sauron singing that song from the "Lion King: Be Prepared" to his ring-wraiths, that Scar sang to his hyena allies. Funny image, that.

Huh, it's funny this topic should come up. Every time I watch FoTR, when their at Cahadras(alright! I butchered that spelling. O_o)...and Legolas pops up outta the snow I cant help but think of Mulan: "They poped outta the snow, like daisies!"

Lol! I like the "sauron singing 'Be Prepared,'" but I think it might be better if Saruman sang it. I just had a stupid thought, you know how Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are the three hunters, right? Well, in Sleeping Beauty, there's three fairies... smilies/evil.gif

Merry

Oh, what about the hobbits or Legolas and Gimli doing "When you're the best of friends" from the fox and the hound?

Nimrothiel
01-10-2003, 03:21 PM
I thought of one for Pippin. In The Sword in the Stone, Arthur is portrayed as being rather clumsy and foolish. Draw your own conclusions.
I got another one for Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. Can anyone else make a connection between The Three Cabareros (sp?) and the Three Hunters?
Oh, this one's truly evil. Treebeard as that Grandmother-willow something or other from Pocahantas. smilies/evil.gif

Okay, I'm out of ideas; someone else post something.

*digging this out from the depts of Mayhem*
Hey! Where´d everybody go?

Aaaanyway, I thought of another good one for Disney

(Elrond/Arwen, the whole scene in TTT)
Elrond: Ohana means family, and family means that no one is left behind... (From Lilo&Stich)
(Have you seen that? It is SOOOO cute!!!)

Ok well how about Eowyn flipping out and singing and dancing Britney style to 'Slave 4 U'...hehe... think about it the lyrics are perfect *rolls on floor laughing*... ok well you may not think its funny but i think its hillarious!

For the intro (this is gonna be good) We'll see a cheaply illustrated story book illustration, and we'll here Galadriel's voice. Once, long ago, in a distant kingdom...

I can totally see the cultural music montage as Eowyn cuts her hair with a sword (talk about playing with pointing objects) and jumps on a horse's back that's legs are obviously much to skinny to be any good. Heehee!

Let's see, now Gandalf could be... Cinderella's fairy godmother! Can't you just see him battling Saruman with a big blue gown and a pink neck ribbon singing 'Alakazoo a mysticaroo (something like that) a bippety boppety boo!' Double Heehee!

Others:

Sam- 'Just One Day Out There' from the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Mumakil- that pacaderm song from Dumbo, you know that er, that eh, one? (articulating really well tonight)

Oh I dunno. Merry Reading!

Grima can be the parrot from Aladdin! Jafar can be Sauruman, with the Sultan as Theoden!
Jasmin of course would be Eowen, and Aladdin Aragorn I suppose, but then the storyline would get a little twisted...

Dont you think that cute little fuzzy hobbits would be great?
