I had a dream that I was at the mall with my friend Meghan, and she said, "Hey look, it's Aragorn and Legolas" and I just look at her like, yeah right, and then the next thing I know, I'm on weathertop and aragorn tosses me a torch and get to chuck it at the ringwraiths...and then i more or less do everything arwen does...including the stuff in rivendell...though i'm not going into great detail cus that's what slash fiction is for, if you get my meaning...

Wow, strange dream.
Well, last night I had a dream about evil hobbits. Yes, that right evil hobbits. There was this little bloody hobbit running around with a knife. I was very scared smilies/eek.gif

Seven dwarves were chasing me and then I swam across a water fall to discover that I am a Lost Elven princess. Dont quite know how that happend. there were scorpions too, don't know why.

Gosh, ever since I saw FOTR I have had so many LOTR dreams. Like last night, I had one where I had a DVD copy of ROTK before everyone else, and I think Aragorn was running around in an imaginary town that I don't live in. I also had a dream where I dressed up as a hobbit,(ears, clothing, feet, everything) and had to go on like a journey. And I also have had many where the stars of the movies came over to my house, or I met them. Though I am still waiting to have a dream where I get to be the hero or something smilies/wink.gif

My dreams are always to complicated, but last night I had one where I was a hobbit and I saw Frodo push over this table full of beanie babies and then deny it, because Legolas was going out with this girl he liked (unfortunatly not me).

I also had a really wierd one where sauroman built this new sort of killing machine that took you down to the underworld and put Pippin in it. Pippin started screaming and merry was calling out for his beat frinend but he never came. Then he realised what happened and started crying as he slowly faded away as if life was no longer worth living.

I was in school and at the back on the playing field was the Aragornath....And I met Gimli, Frodo, Treebeard, some other hobbits and Quickbeam...(even though I dont know what he looks like)....and there were grey statues of hobbits every where.....

I had a dream last night that I was at Helm's Deep fighting. An army of men who looked like the person from CK Crave adverts was against us and on our side there were: Me, my mum, a strange woman called Masha whose face I recognised, but couldn't place, wearing nearly the same clothes as my mother, and the usual Middle-Earthian army. I kept trying to get out of the fighting, it was horrifiying. For some rason, Gandalf was in the medical room (to treat the wounded). I kept trying to go help him, but to no avail. The fortress had been turned into a hotel, and I remember being really puzzled that the opposing army couldn't just come round and enter through the hotel...
And then we had a 10 minute break, leaving one woman called Nelya on her own against the armies, and wento to get coffee etc. when we came back, we started fighting and I woke up.

That was technically a nightmare, as I'd eaten just before going to bed, nd was scared silly through the whole dream, but it was a Tolkien-related nightmare (ther first LotR dream I've ever had), so I'm happy. smilies/biggrin.gif http://www.smilies.nl/dieren/grommit.gif

orlando bloom was at my friends house with a group of my friends and me (we were having some kind of party). he dumped his girlfriend, asked me out, and gave me his ex's backpack (????) which i had to hide so nobody would know i had it

i cant remember anything from the other dream, except that just about everyone from the fotr and ttt movie cast was in it, mostly standing around on the edge of lothlorien

Woah, last night I probably had my weirdest lotr dream of all. I think I was part of the cast as some nonexistant character that existed in my dream, and I was going to eat dinner with Elrond and Legolas (we were all in our costumes and calling each other by character names, but I know it was the cast. Read on...) Elrond had made salads, and I said something about cutting back on the fat, and then Legolas said that they three of us didn't need to, because we were the skinniest, and then he went to go on about how Merry, Sam, and Arwen (go figure) had to lose weight. ALso, we were in a spaceship when this was going on...yeah...talk about weird...

These dreams are rarely ever not weird! I've had so many!

A couple nights ago I dreamed that some of my friends and I were going to the zoo. We ran into Gandalf and he said to us, "You hobbits had better watch out. Some idiot built this zoo on Isengard!"

It got weirder as it went on. The zoo turned into our school, but it was still a zoo, and we had to find Saruman to break his staff. We told Gandalf that he might look suspicious in his white robes and stuff, so he turned his staff into a pencil and bought a souvenier T-shirt. We walked around, and, Ugh! It was strange!

I absolutley just don't dream about books and such, i don't know why...though I think I once dreamed about having a LotR dream. what's more, my dreams, when I remember them, are way to realistic. I'll be having troble falling asleep, then I will, but I'll wake up thinking I didn't sleep at all. Aghh!!!

oooooook Where to begin. hmmm last night. Sam and I (me being Frodo, I always seem to be) were on ponies, and Gandalf was leaving us. While he was talking, spiders came and Sam and I had to fight them. (They looked just like in the Fellowship of the Ring game when you're in the Old Forest.)

12/16/02- My bro. and I (as Sam and Frodo) were at the Black Gate. Gollum was there and he pulled us in a pond so He wouldn't see us. The ring almost sunk but I caught it, and Elrond and my dad were making sure we didn't pass through with the ring. (????)
11/23/02- In the middle of a huge hall was a statue of Galadriel. Gimli was hitting it with his axe. I started to hit it too. Galadriel found out and searched for the people who did it. (never found us b/c we hid the axes under our shirts. hehe)
11/22/02- Saruman was knocking on my kitchen door. He threatened to "have his orc take care of it" if i didn't open it. I hid in my basement, and pretended to be Frodo's relative, so they didn't think I was Frodo. It suddenly switched to lots of men and elves marching in a big field. Legolas was arguing w/ Arwen and Eoywn. Aragorn came to get me and my niece (Frodo and another hobbit) to go on a quest. We left there, and a white SUV was spying on us. Aragorn made him leave, and we continued.

In my dream I found myself in Mordor. I don't know why I was there or how I came there, but I knew that I had to do some slaying, I think I was part of a game in Mordor (I knew that it was Mordor because there was Lava everywhere, but it was cold already.) The game was more or less about orc-killing.
Then suddenly there were a few Ents who looked rather strange and artificial, but in my dream they were Ents. One of them gave me a shield, I think I had a sword already, and he gave me a bow called "Windforce", that's a bow of a computer game that I haven't been playing for ages, it's called Diablo. The Ent told me, well he didn't tell me but he looked at me and I understood (like Pippin looking in the Palantir) that I was entering the dangerous area.
Then I moved on and I think there was Legolas entering something like a gate to the game-area where you had to slay orcs or something like that. More or less like Diablo is all about.
Then I woke up and thought "what the.... was that?" Sadly enough I didn't see any orcs.

hmm i had a dream, i cant really remember it, but Pippin and Merry were in it, and we were all hobbits. i think we were eithre at the Green Dragon or at Bilbo's birthday party. another dream was with Elijah Wood, and i dreamt he was my boyfriend....ah, he's mm mm good! smilies/wink.gif :P

I had this really strange dream where me, my mom and two of my three brothers were riding around in our van because my mom wanted to find Elijah Wood. (???) Then, she parked in the corner of some parking lot for some reason. At that point I said, "Hey, it would be cool to meet Sean Astin." My mom was like, "What do you expect him to do, drive up right behind us, get out of the car, and give you his autograph?" I kinda sat there for a minute, then got out of the van, and, sure enough, Sean Astin pulls of right behind us and gets out of his car and I get his autograph. (Strange, but funny and cool.) Then like for some reason my mom asks him if he knows Elijah Wood, and Sean says, "No, I have no idea who that is." Then mky mom drives off without me, and I go with Sean Astin for the rest of the day....er....dream. He had to sign like 10 bilion autographs or somthing crazy like that, and people were asking me for my autograph too even though they had no idea who I was. Then like Elijah Wood comes up and Sean Astin is like, "Oh hey, what's up dude?". It was weird and kind of funny....

Nothing fancy here, I usually have to go to the late movie so I drag my tired butt in about 1:00 a.m. Mind you, I'm old and I turn unto a pumpkin at 10:00 p.m.
So when that happens, the movie keeps playing in my dreams and I wake-up very tired.
Once though, I dreamed that I was with the four hobbits and we kept running and hiding and running, again woke up very tired.

Most of my LotR dreams are so scary I am Serrously shaking just thinking about them. But all of my dreams seem to be LotR related now, even the (Very rare) nice ones. I seem to have this whole ongoing sarga stuck in my head about me being half hobbit and half elf and having a second ring of power, kinda like a spare copy, which can't be deatroyed without the one ring and the one ring can't be destroyed without it. Bilbo addopts me with Frodo and we go of to destroy them together. Very weird. Also I had an extreamly wierd dream when I was in a play and the whole cast of LotR and some other LotR related people where there and me and Christopher Lee went off and had a long talk in Elvish. (That might of been something to do with the fact my new years resolution is to learn more elvish and I'm starting a drama school soon)

I had a strange dream the other night where I was trying to make my hair look like Galadriel's. It didn't work and it looked really bad. The I woke up and tried it. It worked and it looked ok. It would work a little better if my hair was long.

I had a dream the fellowship was in some sort of swamp, and Gilmi was being chased by an aligator(or crocodile, whatever) Legolas ends up saving him and Merry and Pippin come along and they all leave on this wagon and leave Frodo to finish the journy. Then i was in a store begging my parents to buy me this movie parody of LOTR(the first part of my dream)Then me and Pippin were running up these endless stairs being chased by something. We came to this room and hid under stuff, then my friends parents walked in and started taking photos, it was odd!!!

I think I've had a few actually, but I got a really good one once where I had my own elfy horsie (NOT Asfaloth), and I was riding to Rivendell when I met the REST of the Fellowship, Aragorn and the hobbits, and Aragorn didnt call me Arwen, yaaaaaay!! I leant Pip my horse, and he got bucked off...oh well....

I don't quite remeber this dream properly, but I know I was with the entire fellowship running around Rohan doing some very random things (that's all I can remember of that part) and then we came to a forest and I realised I was dreaming and went "What the hell are you all doing here?", then they left me behind and ran off into the forest, I woke up before I could follow them. smilies/rolleyes.gif

I had a dream that I went to see the TT for a third time. Everyone was rolling there eyes at me when all of a sudden a bunch of barrow-downers stood up with a big "25 and counting!!!" sign and cheered. I found it strange

I had this really weird dream that I was riding on a horse next to Legolas and we were fighting off the orcs by shooting arrows at them and then we fal off our horses and the orcs kill us ad throw our bodies i the Anduin lol its really um...scary

i had a very weird dream.. i dreamt that me and my friend Kaylee were hobbits, and the whole of Hobbiton was going up against a small army of miniature Orcs, they were up to our chests. They won, so for some reason we were all pretending we were dead, and the this one Orc came up and said "Hmm, which one shall we eat first?" and he started to chew on Kaylee's arm, but she screamed and ran away, so he started to chew on mine but i jumped up and was all "NO!!" so then we all got up and went into these two huge warehouse rooms, and the Orcs went into one and we went into the other, and the Orcs were all "Ha ha, our room has more than yours!" and then our big boss pulled a string and the walls of our room went up and we had even more stuff than the Orcs, and we had a whole bunch of sweets and pastries and cookies and stuff. So we all started pigging out and Pippin was in the corner stuffing his face, when suddenly over a loudspeaker i heard "Pippin Took is being arrested for eating another hobbit." (Don't ask.) So two Orcs came into our room and started to take him away, and i ran up and gave him a hug so he would feel better and i said "show them theyre wrong! by the way youre very cute." i dont know why i said that. LOL. anyways then they took him into their room and did an x-ray of his stomach, and there was Merry's waistcoat inside of it. he was all "I didn't eat Merry, i just ate his waistcoat!" Then i woke up. i think this tops the list for weird dreams. Yay, i am the champion! smilies/biggrin.gif lol!

Mine perhaps isn't as weird as that but anyway:

The beginning of the dream isn't really relevant, it consisted of being shot at, breaking some bloke's nose, then trying to make a bed with the rest of my school. Then I went down a ladder (we were on a balcony) and suddenly I'm in this ravine with sheer cliffs going up all around and a door at one end. Theoden comes riding up and asks me to get on, but he's not put the bridle on properly so I have to do it up for him smilies/rolleyes.gif. He canters off just as I manage to climb on and we find some troll-like orcs, but they're on our side and they're trying distract two huge Oliphaunts my tempting away a baby Oliphaunt. I'm now on my own horse and Theoden gos away a bit, while Eowyn and Faramir kiss (in the middle of a battle smilies/rolleyes.gif ) while Eomer is galloping madly around. Two walls come down and trap Eowyn and Faramir and Eomer immediately comes up while Theoden is miles away, though trying hard to get here. An oliphaunt comes along and smashes its trunk down on Eowyn, Faramir and Eomer, the oliphaunt kind of disappears (as things tend to do in dreams) and I'm left looking at the three with their heads smashed in.

Not surprisingly, I woke up at that point.

The only LotR dream I've ever had was the night after I'd put a new Aragorn poster up on my otherwise entirely Legolas-covered walls.

I dreamt that Aragorn and Legolas were standing in the middle of my bedroom arguing over which of them ought to have more posters up. I woke up halfway through and just thought 'what the hell?

The other was that my mom was making lembas and they didn't turn out right becvause she didn't use the right ingredients.

I had a dream last night that I was in a play or something and I was Pippin.

I always dream that I'm in a clearing in a forest, and suddenly Legolas, Elrond, Arwen, Galadriel, Celeborn, and hundreds of elves and elf-friends appear all around me. Each of them gazes deeply into my eyes, as though they are searching for something. Then Galadriel says, "You are the Chosen One. You must go with the Ring-bearer to Mordor, where you will be tested, and the truth about yourself shall be revealed to you." Then I say, "Why have you, the wisest of beings chosen me for this? I am not of your kind." Galadriel says, "Ah, but you are one of us Nimrothiel of the Wood. Look into the pool, and you will see the truth that has been hidden from you." I go over to a pool that I hadn't noticed before, and I kneel on the bank and look into the water. Suddenly, something that feels like an electric charge runs through me, and I black out for a minute. When I come to, I catch a glimpse of someone in the water. It's an elf, but not one of those that I saw gather in the clearing. I know what I must do instantly, and I turn to face the elves. Galadriel says, "Yes, go now and fulfill your destiny. Protect the Ring-bearer, who carries the fate of us all. You must not fail." Then they all disappear, and I realize that I'm holding a sword, and have a bow and quiver of arrows on my back. I'm also garbed in a tunic and hose, as well as a cloak much like the Fellowship's. I turn and walk out of the clearing towards the West, then my figure begins to fade, and I wake up.

Four nights ago, I had a dream that I was at my local A&P Supermarket and John Rhys-Davies (in full Gimli outfit...but standing at his full 6'2") and Peter Jackson (who, by the way, shaved his beard in the dream) were there. There was suddenly a screening room in the back and we all piled into the back and got an advanced screening of "Return of the King". Then, I went out into the parking lot, and two of the stunt-riders from the movie were there, riding big, 20 hand black horses. In the end, I was hanging out and waiting, because other cast members were supposed to drop by.

Three nights ago, I had a dream that I was just hanging out at my house with my friends and Elijah Wood. We were hanging out on my couch and watching TV.

Two nights ago, I had a dream that I was hanging out with Ian McKellan and he was showing my mom and me around the set of Pirates of the Caribbean (the fact that Ian McKellan was there didn't seem to phase me in the dream, however, for some odd reason).

Last night, I had some completely random dream, but maybe I'll pick up my dreams of cast members tonight...I still have Mister Astin, Mister Bean, Mister Bloom, Mister Boyd, Mister Mortensen, and Mister Monaghan to go. Maybe I'll get to Mister Lee and Miss Tyler too at some point (and maybe Mister Parker, if I can)...

Anyway, I had another dream last night, not exactly happy one, kind of like my last one, it should've been scarey, but it wasn't.

It was like I was Cinderella, except that my father was the worst, and that the rest of my family were ents. They would routinely throw me about the house (luckily for them it was a dream and I didn't get hurt). My house was exactly like my house is (except without chairs, ents don't need chairs) apart from, that it was on the sea front. I walked down the road a bit and the sea was getting really choppy and from nowhere a huge swarm of moth-dragonfly things flew at the town. I don't usually mind bugs but I didn't like these ones so I ran home and told them to lock the house up. They told me I was stupid as one of the bugs startedcutting through the glass in the window. That sort of just stopped and I tried to get daddy-ent's attention by banging on him. Then I woke up.

That's really quite strange isn't it?

There's been two that I can remember a little better than the others. In the first one, I don't remember whether I was myself or a hobbit (some would argue that there's really no difference anyway) but Gandalf was my new college proffessor. He had class in this big old stone tower on an island either in a river or over the ocean. The tower was roofless and it was one of those really pretty cold sunny days so the whole place looked gorgeous. There were these ancient, twisted trees everwhere.
I had this one a long time before TTT came out.

The second one came after TTT. I was fighting alongside Aragorn, which was pretty cool, but for some very strange reason much of our army consisted of drama students from my old high school.

Well, I've had many LOTR dreams. {One especially featuring Sean Astin.} Most of mine are with the actors, but I did have a dream where I went on the journey with the Hobbits. I think you can find those on one of the links VanimaEdhel gave you.

As for my NEWEST dream though, it goes like this...{It's very short}

Elijah Wood walks up to my house. For some reason, when I sent him a fan letter he decided to reply personally. smilies/biggrin.gif Anyway, he comes in and I show him all of my LOTR stuff and everything I have of him etc.. He gives me a signed poster of FOTR with all the actor's signatures plus PJ and Howard Shore. He also gives me a signed picture of himself. Then he asks me if I want to go see TTT with him. Of course, I'm like "Oh yeah!"

I see my friends at the theater and I introduce Elijah to them. Then after we see the movie, I ask him to sign my ticket stub. {That part was a little weird.} But then I just woke up. I guess it was one of those weird dreams that actually somewhat finished.

I thought it was a cool dream. It might just be one of those obsessive fan things though. But it was cool to me... smilies/wink.gif

Jeli Baggins- I have a dream journel to, and it really does pay. Overall, I get that you will get money, your dad is evil and Legolas is a girl.

I had this dream that my friend and I were watching FotR beign filmed. they were in the part where Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry are standing on the road. they finished the scene and Billy and Dom came over and started talking to us about really stupid stuff. The whole cast then went to a small trailer in these woods for an award ceremony . it was dark, and as I was entering the trailer, I looked up into this tree and saw Viggo Mortenson sitting in the higher branches. I asked him what he was doing, and he said "I'm being inconspicuous". Then I was suddenly in my basement with Elijah Wood and my mom, who were trying to convince Viggo to help them kill Eowyn. I ran up my stairs and woke up. "wherever you go, there you are"

Right after I read the part in the Silmarillion about the making of the Silmarils, I had this really weird dream. Elrond was sitting in this dark hall on some stairs (it could have been Moria, it looked like the movie version, but I don't know). He looked really old and weary, and he was holding a Silmaril in his hand. I can't remember what he was saying, but it wasn't happy stuff. Something about the Elves leaving Middle-earth, I think. And then there was something about the light of the Silmarils, but I lost that part too. It was so real that when I woke up I thought for a minute it was actually in the books or movies. It was pretty cool.

okay. another weird dream.
I dreamt that I was Pippin and me and Merry were captured by the orcs. then they hid us in my basement behind an old stove. Legolas came to save us and there was a lady orc who said Go ahead, look wherever you want. Theyre not here. So he looked and DUH he found us. He said "hey, those are my friends!" the lady siad "uh...nno theyre not." He said "yes they are! thats Pippin and Merry!" and the lady was all "Nnno its not." Then there was a giant spider by us and it exploded (?) and millions of mosquitoes came out and attacked the lady. then Legolas picked us up and rescued us from the Orcs.

Hey, it's me again!
This time it was actually about the movie (a first for me) The first bit was irrelevant and involved sailing up and down the Thames and falling off Tower bridge, London bridge and the Golden Gate bridge. ('cause that's in London!) Any way, Iwent to see TTT, but there was an interval halfway through where all the orcs were playing in the snow and having snowball fights and laughing and everything. The film finished and I walked outside (into the street where the orcs had been messing about) there were loads of my friends all with pictures of them being extras, one of them was going "I was Shelob, I was Shelob!" Then I laughed at them because they weren't given any credit in the film.

I had a dream where Pippin was rescued from the Orcs by a family and they put him to work in the Bree street market as a pretzel salesman (or would that be saleshobbit?) and then Frodo came and rescued him, and they ran away back to the Shire. Quite short. No pun intended.

Kay, another weird one.
I had a dream where my class was watching FotR and i was all heh heh, Ill just watch it at home. So i went out of my classroom and climbed these stairs, i lived in a treehouse sort of thing but it was only made up of my bedroom. Weird. but then I had my 27" TV right beside my bed, so I was lying on my bed watching FotR, when all of a sudden my sister came in and got mad at me.
Then me and Pippin were running up these endless stairs being chased by something.
AAH! That happened to me too, except it was in a hotel in our town that is supposed to be haunted, so maybe we were chased by a ghost.

Once I dreamed that I had come upon Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli right after Boromir had died. They were all upset and crying and Aragorn was preparing Boromir for his 'burial', only Boromir had on these heavy black velvet clothes with diamonds all over them smilies/confused.gif

Last night I dreamed I had the One Ring in my possesion, only something weird happened to it and the gold faded out of it alot. I was at what appeared to be the Cracks of Doom and I was going to throw in the Ring, but I thought I had gotten there far too easily and these aren't the right cracks. Instead of continuing the journey, I left the mountain because I was afraid of meeting up with Shelob. I somehow ended up at walmart. Some people who worked at Walmart pulled me aside telling me I was hired ( I applied there a few weeks ago, go figure). So I was sitting there filling out paperwork thinking "Cool, I have a job now, I can buy more LOTR stuff!". Then I'm once again at the cracks in Mt Doom and I've still got the Ring. Isildur, Elrond, Frodo and Sam were all there looking quite perplexed, yelling at me to throw the Ring in and get rid of it. But I had such a love and lust for the Ring that I wouldn't do it. Last thing I remember I was walking away from them all, still yelling at me and then I woke up.

These are all so funny! I wish I had LotR dreams, but I really don't. The only one I can remember having was with Gandalf. He was leading me and someone else through a cave, we were looking for something. Maybe the cave was supposed to be Moria. I don't know. It didn't seem to be much of anything.

My most recent LOTR dream, that I remeber.

I am getting ready to go to Valinor, I go, and am waiting on a river that is frozen. Elrond and Galadriel are late. I go home and my mom tells me I have to clean up my room before I leave. All the while I am trying to figure out wheather or not going to Valinor means that I am dying. I keep on telling people that I need to get to the grey havens and crying. Pretty wierd if you ask me! Yes, I had just read the end of ROTK.

I've been told I have the best Gollum voice next to Andy Serkis so here it is

Andy slamms me onto this big greay wall and hes choking me. "You ssstole our parts, precious, chokes her we will" And the fellowship and Elrond are throwing fruit at him screaming "No Stop!" And I keep getting hit in the head with oranges, finaly Pippin knocks Serkis out with a pineapple. Elrond picks me up off of the floor and cradles me in his arms. I try to move but he puts two fingers on my forehead and I cant move "you have been poisend " he says. Then we go on this long journey but they wouldent let me walk. They just keep carrying me.
Finaly We end up in Rivendell and all of the elves are looking at me commenting on how pale i look. Then Elrond whom I was calling Daddy put me on this bed. i looked to my left and grima is lying there at my side. "They are afliccted" said Aragorn. Then Grima reached out and I grabed his hand and started crying. Grima inches over to me and holds me in his arms and then i wake up.

I was in my old chuch in my dream when some orcs ffrom moria started chasing me. After running through the hallways only the leader of the moria orcs was left chasing me. I went outside into teh bushes and hid. He thought I was in his bedroom(the bushes were right outside of this. He was looking for me in his room screaming,"my things, my things, he's eating my things. Where is He? He's eating my things. hhrraaaaaarrrraaahhh!

I woke up there. I told my friend about it and she interpreted it. by the time I found out the interpretation the things that had happend had already happend.

I had a dream one time that Legolas came into PetSmart (where I volunteer for a rescue), and I actually got to hang out with him... (I think Aragorn was there too, but I'm not sure). Ah, well... that's all I can remember.

I dreamt not long ago that my two friends and I were in my bathroom. I was doing something with the loo (not using it, painting it or something like that) and my two friends were fighting over my copy of Lord of the Rings (I don't know why, it's a pretty battered copy). One of my friends then taps me on the shoulder and shows me my book which has been ripped into five pieces. I got really annoyed and my friend was desparately trying to put the book back together but more and more pages kept falling out until I finally gave up and grabbed a part of the book and threw it down on the floor. Then I woke up and mourned my book for a while til I realised that was a dream and it was still in the same condition it was than when I went to sleep.

The other night I dreamt that I had all three elven rings of power, Aragorn's ring, and another one that was not LotR-related at all (it was really sparkly and nice though). I was looking at all the rings, then my mom came and told me that I shouldn't be wasting all my money online buying stupid stuff. It's weird though because I've never bought anything online!

The only LOTR dream i can realy remember was when me and some of my school pupils suddenly had a large war agains a host of orcs, i remember an orc stabbing me with a spear but it didnt actually do anything, and for some reason all my school teachers were sitting in chairs at the side watching us fight. The good thing is was that we defeated the orcs!! and the dream ended when i was looking at all the dead bodies strewn accross the floor.

But it kinda gave me an insight into how Frodo would have felt when he was with the orcs at Cirith Ungol...the things that most stand out from my dream, are the orcs claws and muddy gross skin and them roaring and stuff...scary... smilies/frown.gif

Okay, here's my dream:

I was at Helm's Deep, right before the Uruk-hai army arrived. Somehow, someone had knocked a hole in the wall, so me, a couple of the men of Rohan, and Legolas are trying to fix it (while seriously chewing out the guy who did it). The bad thing is, it's getting dark, it's starting to rain, and we can see the torches of the army coming up the ravine behind us. smilies/eek.gif So, we finally get the hole fixed, but me, three Men, and Legolas are on the wrong side of the wall. So we had to seriously book it to get inside the Keep before the Uruk-hai showed up. Then, all of a sudden, my parents are there, saying that I couldn't stay and I had to come home, but I didn't want to and I was yelling at them about it, and then I woke up.

My dream is SO weird. I dreamt that Billy and Dom were sitting at this table, and I went up to them and was all, "Can I have your autograph?" They looked really bored and ****ed off but they said, "I guess." I gave Billy a little piece of paper with writing on the one side and his autograph covered the WHOLE thing. Dom took it and he was all "Uh.." and I said, "Do you want a new one?" I got him one and he signed it. Then I started singing The Drinking Song and then they all did too. Then I was suddenly in a hotel room with my friends, we had just gotten back from seeing Two Towers. Some girl showed up and said "Guess what? YOU'RE GOING TO HELM'S DEEP!!" and I was like "OH MY GOD!! YAAAAY!! What do you mean?" and she was all "You're going to see the Two Towers!" and I started screaming and yelling like I had never seen it before. Twas weird.

Last night I dreamt that Aragorn was fighting a load of Uruk-Hai in my living room. Then he got wounded and was lying on the sofa unconscious, while Arwen just stood beside him not doing anything. So I went over to him and took him away and healed him. Then he dumped Arwen and we got together and spent the rest of the dream stood on my staircase chatting and kissing while the battle continued in my living room.

I didn't quite have a dream but I was so tired it may as well have been. It was about 4 in the morning and it had been too hot so I had just woken up. I lay there for 10 minutes wondering what the fellowship were doing when I realised that they were a figment of my imagination and that they weren't staying in my house at that particular moment in time.

one in particular, involved my good friend, horse maiden of the shire, and i walking along pinawa, (our "town" we live in) then POOF! M.E time! legolas walked up to my friend and says quite 'as a matter of factly', "hello friend, why are you carrying my bow?" and she she says the same way, "'tis my bow! that on your shoulder is yours!" legolas and her go on with this for quite awhile until pippin comes up, "i'm sorry, legolas, 'tis her bow," legolas ran off crying (hehee! fun!) then's my turn. aragorn comes up to me, "hello, why do you have my sword, and i yours?" and me, "nay, you're mistaken, they just look the same." aragorn: "oooooh....okay!" a HUGE smile appears on his face, i remember cause of all the blackness from there being a lack of teeth, and: "lalala!" he then went running in the flowers, pippin yelled out something that resembled "go eat some tarts" (wha...???) and it was over.
needless to say, it is quite a strange feeling when you wake up laughing and your stumach hurts from it!
i'm not sure if i should be scared or laugh that there was a sequal to that one, that involved our favourite (sorry haldir!) elf crying smilies/evil.gif, a duel of which cloud was better, pink or purple, and duelling match of chucking walnuts at one another... it doesn't make sense, i know, but be glad you got the short version! smilies/smile.gif i'm strange, yes i know, but at least my dreams are saner than i!

I dreamt that I was in school and we were about to take a test. After it was passed out, I looked at the questions and realized that it was a test about ME stuff! I only remember the first question- it was "Name 4 of the Valar." All the questions were easy like that. So I worked on my test and was about halfway through with it when I glanced at someone else's paper. They hadn't written anything down at all! I was thinking, "HA! That's what you get for not reading Tolkien!!!"

When I woke up I was very disappointed because I wanted to finish the test and get 100%. And laugh at everyone else for doing poorly (I wouldn't actually do that if it were not a dream, I'm not mean like that, but since it's a dream, why not??? No one's feelings would be hurt.).

I was in Egypt with an excavation team and we somehow went back in time and went through the pyramids with rivers running through them and stuff, then, Legolas, Aragorn, Eowyn, Boromir, Glorfindel, and some king showed up. We went exploring without a guide and ended up meeting Ramsees, he told us all about reincarnation(I've studdied this recently in Geography), then he told us we could be reincarnated into other people without dying, so Eowyn reincarnated herself into Arwen(duh), and Boromir reincarnated himself into Faramir(?), and then Glorfindel was sad that he didn't have Asfaloth with him so we reincarnated that king guy into Asfaloth and rode down the river flowing through the pyramid.
Then I woke up. Does anyone else think this is strange?

Cool dreams, everybody.

My weirdest one was where I was on a camping trip with the cast of Jurassic Park, Legolas, Eomer, Frodo, and Sam. We were attacked by raptors wearing Nazgul cloaks and screaming like Nazgul. We left the camp running and came to Mordor. We broke through the gates and found Barad-dur deserted. For some reason, I decided to turn Barad-dur into a casino. Then, as I was sitting in a huge leather chair observing the casino through cameras, my secretary Frodo came to tell me that the Eye of Sauron and his orcs wanted Barad-dur back. Then me and my casino crew were thrown out of the gates of Mordor. I gathered up my loyal casino workers into an army and re-took over Barad-dur, casting Sauron away. To celebrate, we formed a "McDoom" restaurant at the base of Mount Doom.

That was the freakiest dream I ever had. *shakes head sadly*

My LotR dreams are just plain...weird. The one that I remember best was like this. We were in Rivendell and were watching this play and then I was on stage (I'm an actress) but I wasn't a character in the play, I was guarding the stage from the hordes of screaming fans then I was in the audience again and I was Legolas (No, I'm NOT in love with Orlando Bloom!) and I shot a bow, this was still in Rivendell, and somehow the arrow almost hit Elrond and I had to go to jail, which was in a restroom, until they discovered that somehow an orc had gotten into Rivendell and that was what I shot, so then I got to go with the rest of the Fellowship, only I wasn't Legolas anymore, I'm not sure who I was, and we had to swim across the sea to the undying land. I'm still not sure what prompted that one.

Once I had a dream so long that it took me 35 minues to tell it to my mom smilies/tongue.gif You must be more internet-ish than me Probably... I only spend my life here... smilies/rolleyes.gif Last night I had a really long one, but I only remember the beginning. I was at a dance recital, in the audience, and suddenly this fat lady comes out and starts pulling me on stage pnching my cheeks and going "get on stage, honey! Ootie-wootie lil girlie..." (That's really weird as I'm really tall smilies/rolleyes.gif ) Then Wormtongue jumped out and started telling the lady something about "the need of Rohan" and she fell asleep and evaporated through the floor (don't ask) and he said "oh yes, my secret weapon", and we went outside and he turned into Elrond and told me something about the Council of Elrond, I think it had something to do with Bombadil too. And I don't remember the rest, except that at some point I saw Gimli doing an Eminem imitation and singing "Sing for the Moment" smilies/eek.gif I think I've listened to more Eminem than is good for me... smilies/rolleyes.gif

I had this one really bazzarie dream that was kinda sorta a cross with xmen and lotr. I only say the xmen part because i was on this spaceship with hallie barry, my mom, and my friends ashley and nikki, and hallie barry was the cook, but she kept throwing up and it floated everywhere since there was zero gravity and all. then we pushed her out of the spaceship but everyone else but me accedently got sucked out of the airlock while we were pushing her. Then I was all alone in the spaceship and Hugo Weaving came in. It was weird because He was completly dressed as elrond, totaly in character, and I even addressed him as Elrond, but we talked about making the movie (apparently I had a part in it) and the cast members and all that. The same thing goes for Arwen and Legolas who came in shortly after him. I made us all salads up there in space and we ate them and Arwen said something about us being the thinnest cast members, and I said that Sean A had to gain weight for his part. And she agreed with me but said that since we were so thin we didn't need to eat salads and Legolas said that it was a good idea if we did because we couldn't gain weight since we were elves. Then somehow the spaceship landed and we went into this school that I recgonized but I'm not sure from where, because it was defenetly not my school. We kept sneaking aroung the hallways because we had to warn the students that the princapal was in league with sauron. But then we saw my cousin and she was a teachers aid their (which is really weird since she doesn't even teach or anything) and she took us all shopping at the Gap but I didn't want to go because I thought the students were in danger so I snuck away and put arsenic in the principals coffie.

I had a dream that I was in the mall and Pippin appeared running around the mall screaming on the top of his lungs sale at the Gap and everyone but me went running, then he and legolas(dont know how he appeared and they were both in ful costume) and came to me and said well that worked to get everyone away. then I turned around and when I looked back they were gone! smilies/frown.gif I looked everywhere and then I found them!!! and they were not in costume anymore, regular hair and everything. And we took pictures together and Orlando was about to say something, he was like Hey I... but I woke up cuz of my stupid alarm clock!!!! I always have strange dreams and I had a LOTR one two nights ago... I was in a huge warehouse which strangly enough was my computer classroom. The computers were all spread out and the computer teacher was driving(yes, driving in a car!)between the computers and barking out orders through a megaphone. Suddenly out of the blue Gandalf appears by my computer and is blabbing about a quest and I acted very uninterested.(Must have not known who he was strangly enough) Then he says, "But the Fellowship is in trouble, you must save them!". Then it must have hit me because I threw down my computer book and ran out the doors screaming, "I'll save you Aragorn!" Then of course it had to end(darn those dreams!). It was very strange all together though, especially the whole computer class in a warehouse with a teacher in car. Maybe I just need some counseling(thinks...oh yeah, i'm already in it!) smilies/biggrin.gif

OK, I had another one(I'm hyper on medication so don't mind me)!

I was at Dell in my dad's office and Gandalf was with me and he was helping me with my world history, but it wasn't world history, it was ME history! When we were done reviewing the lineage of the stewards of Gondor, Legolas appeared and said I was needed at home(which was in Mirkwood of course), so he carried me down stairs(I had hurt my ankle?) and we rode of onto the highway on our horse Shantolé(we were married). Then Galadriel called us on Legolas' cell phone (?)and told us the matter was cleared up and we weren't needed home for another three days or so. We decided we were hungry and stopped at Chick-fil-a and ate outside on the grass. Then we stopped off at the stables where I ride and said hi to my teacher there. We finaly made it back home and went to see Elrond and Sam(they had something to tell us). They told us that we shouldn't tell anyone that we're married anymore and that Bilbo was just fine(?). Then we decided to go see Celeborn in Lothlorien, on our way there we stopped by the lamppost in the forest(Narnia) and had a picnic.

I woke up to my mother telling me she had been calling me for the past ten minutes. smilies/rolleyes.gif That one was weird, but fun!

I had quite a disturbing dream the other night.

It all started when the Fat Controller (from Thomas the Tank Engine) in a tweed suit, Saucepan man without the saucepans, Aragorn, Merry, Pippin, Fatty and I were running through the woods. We were running from death (a good thing to be running from) more of a skeleton in black robes but he was quite scary.

We ran into a convenient log cabin, with wallpaper and furniture like the 30's. Somehow, death caught up with up us and touched fatty, who turned to dust and all that was left of him was a skeleton. The fat controller, saucepan man and Aragorn all went to cook dinner, while Merry, Pippin and I were chased into a room by death. We shut the door oh him but that didn't work because he turned to a black smoke and floated under the door.

Unfortunately, I can't remember how we got out of that one because the next thing I remember is sitting down to dinner. Saucepan had the great idea of showing death that we're not afraid of him by eating Fatty. Now I hate touching skeletons and death things, I can't even squash a fly so when a hobbit skull (looked strangely like a cow skull to me) was set down on the table infront of me it was really horrible. I looked around at everyone else and they all had skulls aswell (just how many heads did Fatty have?). I poked my skull and some of it turned to dust, at which I jumped up and screamed but someone sat me back down, telling me I had to eat it.

I picked up the jaw off this skull and put it in my mouth and began to chew it. I became quite hysterical and desparately asked everyone for a drink. Evertone was trying to get me to calm down and I just yelled at them to get me a drink. Then I woke up with a strangely dry mouth and sore throat.

The last time I slept, I had a dream with the characters from "Bored of the Rings" and Frito was playing dirty scrabble with Moxie, and Pepsi was yelling at me because I had done something wrong, and then I got really mad at him, and I said "oh, but I'm not really Isabel. I'm Serutan!" and he turned into Goodgulf and said "could I borrow an extra pair of white robes, I need to make a white flag", and then something weird happened, and we were all sitting at a table having dinner with my parents, except Farahslax and Bromosel who were under the table. Legolas didn't say anything, and I hopped up on Shadowfax's back, and we galloped off, with Legolas running full pelt right beside Shadowfax.
When we reached a window, we all jumped out in to a rushing waterfall.

I had another LOTR dream! I am really excited!

I was sitting on my bed(in my dream), and Gimli was telling me all about Mirkwood forest(?) and how Legolas loved me smilies/biggrin.gif . I got really excited at that part and then Gimli told me Legolas was waiting, and I asked him what he was waiting for, and he gave me a funny look and said "Why your wedding of course!". I started flipping out and "remembered" that today was our wedding day and all of the sudden I was in Lothlorien with Arwen, Eowyn, Galadriel, Rosie, and Elanor(Sam and Rosies daughter) and they were all helping me get ready for my wedding. Then for some reason, we got to the church and it was Arwen and Aragorns wedding instead, and then I found out that I was already married to Legolas and that we had three children, Ainatalwen(my youngest sisters elven name), Isilindil(my fan fiction characters name), and Aranathion(dunno where that one came from). We were all sitting together at the wedding when all of the sudden we were on a boat heading to the undying lands and Legolas and I were singing that sea song he sang in Return of the King.

Just as we were in sight of the undying lands, I woke up smilies/frown.gif . By the way, I'm having lots of fun reading about everyone elses dreams(good to know I'm not the only one having weird ones smilies/wink.gif ).

Ya know, it's so extremely hilarious picturing all these LotR characters in places they wouldn't normally be AT ALL like school and in our everday lives (all in the dreams, of course). It's one thing when you dream about you YOURSELF being in ME with all the characters, but when THEY are HERE- Ha ha haaaaaaaa! There's reason to explode in laughter.

I have had many LOTR related dreams, or sometimes something LOTR related will come into an otherwise non-LOTR dream. An example of the second: In this dream, I was at school and about to go home. It was extremely odd, as my school really is nothing like my dream, but anyway, I was in a parking lot walking with my friend and Frodo came running from behind one of the cars. I was scared because he was holding Sting and had almost the same expression as when he almost killed Sam in TTT. Also, there was blood on Sting. There was more to this dream, but it was not LOTR related.

Okay, first of all me and teh fellowship were in burger king eating a meal. That isn't weird huh? Well it is for me because I'm a vegetarain and I never eat in burger king. And isn't Legolas one too? Any way, then we went to this pond place and I was on a thing like the brandywine ferry. And Gollum untied it. So I floated to the other side where the fellowship were. And then we all went into a broding school and it started to callapse. So me and the fellowship ran out and everyone followed us. It looked like the run from balins tomb. And that's not all. We all got out of the school (passing one of my school freinds playing on a computer) but the school fel down on top of everyone behind us. And that was like the bit from the book when they leave caradhras.

Just a bit ago, I had the strangest dream... LotR/Swim meet!

It all started in the locker room, with me talking to a beardless, young Aragorn. After a bit of chatting, we went out onto the pool deck, and into the middle of a battle. After slaying countless hordes of orcs, (in my swimsuit!) Eowyn gives a great, huge speech about our bravery and such.

I just recently had a dream which started off with me in a museum/place. I was looking at the Mona Lisa, and the nose began to twitch a little, and it started to scowl. That scared me for a moment (as you may think it would) and then I realized it was Sophia's avatar. And then a pumpkin colored cat jumped out and met a purple cat which came into the museum from the barn (I don't know how I knew that in the dream, but I did) and right away the purple one had kittens, 26 of them. And they were all really weird colors, too. I gave 1 to my parents, who loved it (I'm not sure if that would be their real emotion in real life) and named 5 after some of my 'real life' friends. So I was left with 20, and I named them all after BDers according to their character. It was a bit confusing, as I believe it's rather difficult to figure out a just born kitten's character, but still, I knew, and I don't remember the rest of the dream, except wishing that there had been more kittens, because I had too many names smilies/tongue.gif
That was a bit of a strange dream, don't you think?

I had a bizarre dream about a month ago.

I was a Rohirrim (a guy, even though I'm a girl in real life) and I was riding a big black horse and thinking "oh my gosh! I'm riding a horse in full gallop and I only know how to ride in a trot! Whheeeee!". (In real life, I took riding lessons as a kiddie but only got to the 'trot' part.) ANYWAY, I was riding through this forest, when I came to a big red barn that was supposedly mine. I put my horse inside, when another Rohirrim came in and told me that my sister, Eolia, had died. He handed me this porcelian canister that was white with blue flowers painted on it. A bit porcelain flower made a kind of handle on the top.

Somehow, I automatically knew that she had been slain by orcs and that in this porcelian thing was her ashes. I dig a foot-deep hole and bury it, but the flower on the top sticks out. The other Rohirrim points this out to me.

"Oh well," I say, "It'll be fine." The Rohirrim says that the horses might trip over it and go lame, so I take it out and bury it somewhere else. (That sounds so horrible, but it's true! That's what happened!) Seven other Rohirrim come around the corner to tell me that we have to leave for our quest now, (Somehow I knew what this 'quest' was, but now I can't remember) so I go into the barn, but I can't find my faithful horse! They make me ride this brown old nag, saying they'll buy me a new black one in the morning. Then I woke up.

I dreamed this just the other night.

Okay, for some reason the hobbits in the Fellowship are being chased by people who don't like them and want to get rid of them (not orcs). I was working in a 50's style diner and so I hid the hobbits behind the counter, then suddenly I and the hobbits are in the United States Army and we're at boot camp. The hobbits turn out to be the best at everything so they go to the war that we're fighting with Mordor.

All my LotR dreams are weird like that, only I've never had one that took place in the modern world before.

Excuse me for reviving this old thread, but I had the strangest dream the other night...

I was in this giant cave that reminded me of...Star Wars, strangly enough, and I heard that my best friend was kidnapped by Will Turner from Pirates of the Carribian, *Yeah, Orlando Bloom smilies/rolleyes.gif * So she was sailing away with him, and it was up to me, Aragorn, Frodo, and Sam to save her...

We had to use boats, of course, but it was only two people to a boat. So there I was, with Aragorn in a boat and Sam and Frodo in the other boat. Now these weren't normal boats. They were...two pieces of rope, and you had to lie in between them and kick your feet...I have no clue where that came from... But...yeah.

All I remember was that we were kicking our way towards the sunset, with the pirate ship in the distance....and then I woke up. Never saved my friend...Hmmm...

Yeah. Thanks for reading. I just had to let it alllll out. My friends just rolled their eyes when I told them. Not that you guys aren't... smilies/wink.gif

I have a lot of LOTR dreams to, but am very bad at remebering them, no mather how much I want to... smilies/mad.gif
Just a few nights ago, I had this really strange dream. I was at a little island with two orcs. I can't remember precisely, but I was given a number of tasks (one wich involves an army, like you see in the beginning of FOTR, doing a rather stupid line-dance to the music I was making with a harp... smilies/biggrin.gif ). It was really weird...

There's also another one, which was really great!!! But I can remember only the first part: I was sitting with my best friend on the couch in my living room. Then, out of the blue, two Black riders were coming through a corner next to it. The wall just dissapeard! Me and my friend were really scared, but we coudn't move. Then Aragorn and Legolas were storming in, though the front door (what a gents!). The yelled at us to go away, so we did just that. Aragorn and Legolas started to fight of the riders. I have a feeling that (Xen)Arwen also was there. Anyway, when the riders were deafeated, Legolas, Aragorn, my friend and me sat down at the kitchen table for something to drink and eat... smilies/eek.gif

Pretty weird, I guess.

I dreamed a while ago that Frodo turned into a small lizard, about three inches long, tail included. I yelled at him, because he wasn't supposed to be a lizard, and he became normal again. Then he turned back into a lizard, and I yelled at him, and he went back to normal. It just kept repeating until I woke up.

Another time I dreamed that I was chasing Gollum with the fellowshp because he had stolen the ring, and we finally caught him in a dog food bag. Legolas was mixed up with Will Turner (Legolas clothes, Will Turner hair, and a bow that shot swords) and he got mad at me for something involving fish fossils.(It was something dumb, but I can't remember what it was.)

Ok, I have had a lot of dreams most having to do with Lotr, some having to do with the cast.

Lotr: I walk outside of my house (which looks exactly like my house, yard, neighborhood etc.) and the ringwraiths are having a meeting on my lawn. Aragorn and I dress up as wraiths to join the meeting and spy on them. They start speaking in the black speech and half-way through the conversation my mom walks out and starts speaking like a surfer or something. (wierdest part) she says "Hey uh... dudes you know that like one ring or whatever. yeah it's like totally upstairs" but they decided to get it after the meeting, so I snuck upstairs and my mom's room looked like it had been it like a tornado. But in a clearing in the center of the room shining like the Sun out of clouds was the one ring. (it was kind of odd) So I picked it up and hid it in the bathroom under some Laundry. And went back to the meeting only to discover that no one was there. I went back to get the ring and hide it in a better spot. Then all of the sudden I was in this car in my driveway and my mom came up, opened the door and said "uh... yeah that like dude, the witchking or whatever is like lookin' for ya or whatever" So I got scared and ran into the street, but the witchking was standing there and he started quoting star wars (??) " Join me or die!" Me:"I'll never join you!" So this random guy popped out of the bush and I threw the ring to him, but he thought it was a like frisbee so he threw it back. I threw it to him again and said "No, put it on!" (??) and then I woke up.

Another dream I had was Gollum was after me so I thought of this ingenious plan of escape and started to leave, but I had to go back to get something. Last thing I remember before waking was me upstairs and being scared out of my mind hearing Gollum slinking and hissing up the stiars towards the door and knowing I couldn't do anything now to escape.

Another dream I had was vaguely lotr related. I was having a lightsaber fight with my cousin when all of the sudden someone from star wars (can't remember who) was talking about Gandalf, and I was amazed that s/he knew him.

The last one I had was Frodo was in this Tarzan type jungle house roon thing. (?) and he started tearing down these odd curtains and cussing and I thought "that's not in the book?" (I'm almost positive it was book, but it could have been script) and I woke up.

Cast:
Young Elijah was in the house that his "uncle" owned in Flipper only it was bigger and it had an elevator and these long winding stairs. Elijah was in the elvevator so I started running up the stairs to catch him. No matter how fast I ran I couldn't.

This second dream is also about Elijah: He came to my drama class to help us out and we were backstage kissing when another cast member opened the curtain and found us and started making fun of us. (I'm not one of those obsessed fans, I swear! smilies/redface.gif )

My latest one: I can't tell if the guy was Viggo or Aragorn, he seemed to be a strange combination of the two. He was going to the Oscars or something, and he wanted me to join him smilies/confused.gif Me and him were standing by this corral with a horse in it, and out of nowhere he tosses me and apple and laughs "Grace, you shall be my apple bearer and escort me to the ceremony!" Then he turned around and was talking to someone else, and I suddenly had the urge to eat the apple, which I did. He turned around and noticed the apple was all bitten into and gave me the "Uh huh, and what is this?" look. I panicked and started motioning towards the horse and pointing at it, not sure why I was unable to speak. "Ah! Yes, we shall share with our fellow earth dwellers!" he says, then took the apple from me, broke off a piece and starts feeding the horse.

Next thing I know we're standing in the dark, and other people are there. He's giving a serious speech about 'what we need to do' and 'all middle earth depends on us'. Then he put his hands on my shoulders while he's saying all this, and kisses me. smilies/redface.gif

Promise I'm not an obsessed Viggo fan, this was very odd. I'm still not sure why Aragorn was dressed in modern clothes and calling me his apple bearer LOL.

ah, an lotr dream thread. okay here I go:

My first LOTR dream was really weird. Okay, I was running through this feild of tall grass because something was following me ( I recall it being Ringwraiths or something) all of sudden Tinkerbell (don't ask) shows up so I follow her. suddenly I'm on the ground and some orcs tried to run me over with a cement truck. and....that's it.

This was a dream I had AGES ago...lets see if I can remember it...

I remember everyone getting ready for a huge battle with the Uruk hai...everyone had spears and stuff and the atmosphere was tense. We were in a base, by a hill in the middle of the forest and I remember being told that I had to go and fight the Uruk Hai too, but I was really terrified. Then I found out that I didn't have a weapon, so I'm marching with this whole army of people to the Uruk Hai with no weapon or armor. I was scared. The rest is a bit blurry but I THINK I got a bit of help from Gandalf and Aragorn. But I certainly remember the Uruk Hai...man they were scary... smilies/eek.gif smilies/eek.gif

Okay…I had the strangest dreams last night…

I saw Frodo and Sam in a forest, riding ponies. It was dark and spooky, and there was the critical scary movie mist thing, curling up the street. Sam was riding up ahead, and turned back to see Frodo, but Frodo wasn’t there. Just then, a Nazgul came galloping down the road from the other direction. Sam went into the woods on the side to hide. The Nazgul emitted this eerie dark glow and saw Frodo. It started talking to Frodo, and neither knew who the other was. *Don’t ask* All of a sudden. This bright light comes down the road, and the Nazgul sees Frodo properly and realizes that he’s the Ringbearer. He lets out the Nazgul shriek. EEEEEEE! And Sam grabbed Frodo and ran down the street to a hotel. *Not an inn, a hotel* Butterbur ran from the other direction to distract the Nazgul.

The next thing I know, Sam is hiding in an elevator in the second floor of the hotel. Frodo hides in a tiny, cramped, closet. The thing is, this was all from Frodo’s point of view, so it was like I *was* Frodo… Across from the closet was a bathroom, which the Nazgul came out of. *I distinctly remember hearing the toilet flush and the wraith turning off the light when he was done…* Frodo/me, sitting in the closet, was terrified, and closed his eyes. The Nazgul came out of the bathroom, and all of a sudden, Butterbur and this group of random people ambush him and attack!

Another scene skip-now Frodo was fighting the Nazgul and my sister’s boyfriend, Greg. *don’t ask* smilies/rolleyes.gif Sam was nowhere to be found, but we do know that the elevator broke, and he was in it while it broke, so Frodo thinks he’s dead. Frodo has two swords-pirate type swords, not the Middle-Earth type. Greg suddenly flies up into a corner of the ceiling and throws his sword at Frodo. Frodo throws his back and hits him, but Greg is still alive and stumbles toward him. Frodo takes a slash at Greg and kills him. Frodo is the only living person left.

Frodo, still me, and still quite shaken, stumbles to the door to find Sam, and Sam is there. Big happy reunion, complete with “I thought you were dead!”

Another scene skip, and Frodo is in the bathroom in front of a giant basket of glitter lip gloss… He sees a bottle of self-tanner and takes it, thinking he is too pale…

That’s it. It was really long, but really vivid. Weird, no? This has got to be my longest post. I’m proud!

I had a dream where Eowyn was teaching me how to sword-fight in Edoras, when all of a sudden I was in a fencing class, in uniform, fencing with frodo and then aragorn came in, and Eowyn went to go stalk him, then I was in a movie theatre and the whole audience threw tomatoes at Arwen for usurping Glorfindel, then I was back fencing with Frodo, when Pippin and Merry came in, and sam was in the back cooking 'taters.... and then... I woke up! that was a pretty long sentence..

I've had many dreams that seem to foresee something that will happen in the future. Example: Before TTT came out I had this strange dream with this battle scene that I didn't really get. But then I went to see the movie and it turned out to be some sort of abstract segment from the attack where Aragorn gets thrown over the cliff. (it kinda scared me though)

A few weeks ago, I dreamed that I was a hobbit. I was kissing Frodo in the Old Forest when his cell phone rang and there I was: trying to share a moment when the hobbit I was sharing it with is yacking away on his mobile! To whom he was gabbing I cannot say and the one thing I am still curious about is the cell phone....

A fantasy of mine has always been to play a role in some Middle-earth feature. And now... MY DREAM IS COMING TRUE!!!! EEEEEEEE!!!!!! My Theatre Arts class is putting on The Hobbit. We're using this monster dragon puppet for Smaug and the people playing trolls get to walk on short stilts. Oh, I hope I get casted into a good role!!!

I KNOW I've had some dreams about Frodo, Sam & myself, but I can't remember them. I think in one we were traveling across the Shire or something.

In my latest Middle-earth dream, my sister & I were dressed up like Nazgul, screeching, & saying, "Run, Frodo it's the Nazgul!" Funny thing is, Frodo wasn't even there. I laughed at myself about that one.

Well. Here is the long-awaited Sandstorm Dream! (long-awaited because I dreamed it a long time ago and I haven't posted it yet. Heh heh.)

I dreamt that I was stuck in the outdoor rink of our town with Frodo, Sam, an old man and a camel. A sandstorm started up so the air turned orange, and when I inhaled it hurt my throat really bad. Then Sam said something, and Frodo yelled "Shut up, Sam!" and smacked him across the face (I think).

I think I dreamed something about Bilbo once. It was long ago. I think he was trying to coax me into marrying Frodo or something.

I've never had any Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, Boromir, or Merry & Pippin dreams, but I'd like to. I think I remember dreaming something about Gandalf, but I'm not sure what happened in the dream.

I had the weirdest dream last night. I was at Helm's Deep and I was Legolas, which is strange enough. There was a lot of fighting going on (obviously).
I shouted "I'm off!" And ran out to this gate out of Helm's Deep. Haldir was standing there and asked if I really wanted to abandon my friends. I wanted to say no but I said yes. Haldir said " I usually give people who stay a sheild and ((said something else I cant remember))"
I cried out "A sheild!? I'm staying!!" And I stayed and nanced around =[)

And then later on I found Aragorn and he was a stripper...(don't ask). I asked if he'd come round and perform for me and my friends and he said no. Heehee. Weird.

I keep dreaming that I'm making a post on one of the RPGs I'm in, then I turn around and suddenly I'm my character and in the RPG itself. It's really weird because most of my current character's are guys and I am most definitely not. Also it's weird seeing this computer in the middle of Greenwood the Great...

Also, I recently dreamed that I was someone else's character and I married mine. That was just...odd.

a couple of nights ago I had a Lotr related dream. It is kind of fuzzy, but I remember Gandalf on Shadowfax and my action figures sitting in my room. Then I was looking through these ID's (not sure what kind, like drivers licenses or something) of some of the characters. I remember Boromir and Faramir for sure, but I'm not sure about who else I was looking at. Anyway, I was reading Faramir's and it said he was looking to marry a cat (???!?!?!) and so I thought about marrying him off to my cat smilies/eek.gif

Last night I dreamt this boy spoke to me over the net and asked me if I wanted to battle our LotR action figures. I said I would, but I had to find them first. Aragorn was on the floor so I picked him up and put him on the table and went to find the rest. I ended up going outside and walking down my street to find the action figures when suddenly I saw a box on the ground (randomly)!
I ran over to it, hoping it was a LotR action figure, but instead it was a new weapon for one of them. It was this cool stick/sword thing. I picked it up and went home.
I asked mum if she had seen my Boromir figure anywhere and then she produced it from nowhere and gave it to me. It was still in the box, but it had a long grey beard, which baffled me. But then I though "Oh yeah, I must have taken the beard off of Gandalf and put in on Boromir. Makes sense..."

That was my exciting, eventful and adventurous dream!

I was jogging down the street with my friend when a mini-van pulls up. Gandalf is driving and Legolas, Eowyn and Gimli are in the passenger seats. I hop in (my friend disapeared) we drive to this nieghborhood and Pippin and Merry are there. Gandalf tells Merry that Pip wants to stay here, so after a tearful goodbye we all depart to pick up Frodo and go back to Middle Earth.

Last night I had the weirdest dream...

At first I was in college, and the archaeology lecturer was my father. I went to take a shower, but the cubicle became invaded by young girls who were smoking. I told them to get out and that I was the archaeology lecturer's daughter, but they weren't impressed.

Then the college turned into Minas Tirith, and I was in the palace. It was invaded by soldiers, and the enemy king and his wife, so I ran to wake up my father, who turned out this time to be Denethor. (And the cupboard where the shower cubicle was was now occupied by Faramir and a random girl who were making out...) I tried to impress the enemy king by telling him that I was the Steward's daughter, but that didn't work.

Then I woke up.

Well, last night, I dreamed that Aragorn, Legolas, Elrond and myself were exploring the woods down by the lake at my home, when we came upon what looked like some boards nailed to the ground. Aragorn ripped them up, and it turned out to be some sort of well. He was bending down to look inside, but he bent too far and fell in. Legolas was shouting after him, and he also leaned too far in and fell. Then Elrond started yelling at me to go get some rope.
So I ran home and looked into the garage, and miracle of miracles, I actually found something I was looking for for once.
I took the lenghth of clothesline back, and Elrond and I hauled the unlucky two out.

Definitely one of the wierder LotR dreams I've had.

I had this dream a while back, but I still sort of remember it.
Elijah Wood and I were at this weird party thats on an open field on the corner of this busy street that seems really familiar to me. We decided to go across the street (I think we were going to get snacks?) and I was walking down the sidewalk, but Elijah lost sight of me. He then jaywalked across the street, and I yelled" Elijah no!" while several cars swerved out of his way, thankfully not hitting him, but he fell to the ground anyway, and whole crowd of people ran to the street to see if he was ok. I tried to get to him to see if he was ok but the people wouldn't let me through. Then I woke up.

What's even weirder was that I don't even like Elijah.

I was a nanny, working for Denethor and his wife. Then the wife dies and i marry Denethor and we have a son, who suddenly skips a few years, is 11, and turns out to be a kid extra from the battle of Helm's Deep. We were living in Minas Tirith, but it turned into a cave in the corner of a patio, and we sat outside the entrance on deckchairs. And I think we got invaded by soldiers again...

Anyway, I had this weird dream some time ago where my friend and I were rushing up the stairs of Orthanc to get to the rooftop. In the middle of the staircase we met Saruman, and he was carrying a bag of toilet paper rolls. When we reached the rooftop it was all screwed up, cos it was huge and covered by turf!

I've had a reoccuring dream in which Legolas and I are out hunting. We're having so much fun and seem to be great friends, and it's so nice! I have no idea why I dream that tho, cos I don't usually stalk him, smilies/smile.gif

Then my friend had a twisted dream about me and LotR ... thing is, she lives in Norway and I live in Hungary so she dreamt that she *walked* here to visit me. After *some* time she finally arrived at my place - but then she met Saruman, who apparently was living together with me, and he wouldn't let her see me cos he wanted to have me to himself (or so she said). Sheesh. Glad *I* didn't dream that, it would've traumatized me! ^_^

There was this woman and she was dressed in a Rohan solider's outfit. She was riding around the castle and field of road and people where chasing her (on horses also). But the werid thing was I saw the camrea crew you know with the camrea on a stick and truck following the action. Then it suddenly changed to one of the producers I think, was dressed up like King Theoden, and everyone looked at him and said "No, way do you look like Theoden." Then I woke up, really werid! Last night, I dreamed that I was in my house, but it wasn't like my house really is at all. (One thing you should know about my dreams: things are never consistent. Sizes, colors, distances, and identities change randomly.) There was a lake in my house, and I was building a ship on this lake, because the orcs were coming. I named the ship Amarantha_Daisy. (don't ask me why, BDer's names often pop into my dreams in random places) It was small, like a toy ship, but I was able to sit on it, and it didn't sink. My sister and my dad also made ships. I looked out the window and saw an orc going to get reinforcements, (though they weren't actually attacking yet) so I told my mom to go get reinforcements for us. She forgot to lock the door when she left, so an orc came in. I had to go kill it, so I took my calculator (please don't ask) which had only one shot left. I went down the hall and shot the orc as it was going up the stairs to where I had been when I saw it come in. (I did not go down stairs to get there, however) My dad closed a trapdoor at the top of the stairs, and I went back to my ship and sat down. Then I woke up.

Another weird thing: My mom was Meela. Crazy, eh? (Before you ask, Meela, no, my dad was not Denethor.)

I dreamed that Legolas and Aragorn both left there bodies (they didn't die, they just left them...), and they entered Orlando's respectively Viggo's bodie. smilies/eek.gif Really weird. They lived together in this gigantic castle thing, probably in England. Then I came around for a visit. That was real fun. The tree of us were best friends, but if it was me, Orlando and Viggo, or me, Legolas and Aragorn (being best friends I mean, 'cause Leggy and Aragorn were in there bodies), I don't know. We were doing all these fun stuff, like horsriding. Then XenArwen came around (really! not Liv, but Arwen), and then... I woke up. Stupid school!!! It was such a great dream... smilies/frown.gif

I dreamed that my friend and I were out horseback riding (she owns horses and she's got a pretty large pasture) when suddenly, a pack of HUGE wolves with glowing red eyes attacked us. Somehow, we had swords with us, and we started hacking away at the wolves, but the horses went down, and we were eventually backed up against a tree, and about to be eaten. Then, just in the nick of time, Aragorn and Legolas come up and kill all the wolves and save us (we're very wounded), take us back to my friend's house. There, Aragorn heals us with athelas, and then we talk for a while. Of course, then I woke up!

This was one of the first coherent dreams I've had in a long time. In this, I'm not certain what race I am, but I think I'm an Elf. I'm at Helm's Deep, getting ready for the huge fight with Saruman's little henchmen. This really, really hot Elf walks up to me, and says he will protect me in battle. He looks like a dark-haired Legolas. I ask what his name is, and he replies, "Cuthalion". We both end up surviving the battle, and, well, I think you all can see where this is going...

I figured it would be safe to air my dream on here, even though it isn't LOTR (it features Elijah Wood, however, so that's my link and I'm sticking to it!). This dream has lent a creepy feeling to my mood all day, so I figured I had better write it somewhere, or I'll just keep feeling creepy. Anyway,

I am in a gray room with lots of metalwork and exposed plumbing and a bunch of people I know, among them Elijah Wood, who I talk to. (Can't remember what I said). I took a bath in the tub and fell asleep. Woke up next morning missing shirt and shoes. Hunted for shoes and found a bazaar with all sorts that didn't suit me at all (too delicately made: silk and satin stuff.) Elijah shows back up and asks if I need help. I ask him for a shirt. He goes into a room and pulls out a shirt from a stash of his, and the shirt is yellow with prominent black writing on it: "I am wearing Elijah Wood's T-Shirt". I notice just then that I have a straight pin sticking quite far into my forehead and I pull it out. I leave quickly, wearing the Elijah shirt and have a distinct feeling Elijah had plans to kill me and chop me up into little pieces. I wake up feeling VERY creeped out.

OK, it had nothing to do with LOTR, but I've often thought Elijah should play a crazed murderer. Maybe its the eyes. Now I'm convinced!

I usually have LOTR dreams becuase I sometimes fall asleep reading the books(Not that they're boring or anything, but I read late into the night, even thought it's not that good for me)My latest one is last night, I had a dream where I was lost in a cornfield(like in children of the corn) and all the sudden, Merry and Pippin borst out and said "Hold this." and handed me this bag of mushrooms. "This," says Merry"Is the big magical bag O' mushrooms.You like mushrooms right?" "Um, just on my pizza." says I. "Good!!!!!!" they yelled at me, and Merry kissed my cheek,and threw me up a tree. I sat there and Merry came up. "Shhh, we're not supposed to be in this scene. We come in afther Pip, Sam and Frodo meet up with Farmer Maggot." "Yes, in chapter four, a short-cut to mushrooms." "Ok."says merry"Want a mushroom?" "Sure." I say and we end up eating the whole bag(Which tastes like cotton candy)Then he pops one in my mouth, and kisess me. THE End.

I had this dream I was in the middle of the battle at the top of Amon-Sûl. First I just watched the battle and tried to stay out of everybodys way. Then I swiftly became Aragorn and I had to fight against the 5 ringwraiths. It was annoying due to the hobbits were so scared that they couldn't fight properly and I had to do the job.

I have two unusually strange dreams two nights in a row...

Dream #1: I was walking down the street, and all of a sudden, I saw Frodo crying in the middle of a highway (it was suddenly a highway, OK?) He was just sitting ther all huddled up with his arms around his knees crying. I ran over to him (still a highway...I have no clue how I did it) and asked what was wrong, but he didn't answer. The whole rest of the dream, then, I was trying to pursuade (sp?) Frodo to talk to me or to get off the highway; through the whole dream, no cars hit us though...(I know, not as weird as some of yours, but it is kinda strange when you think about it)

Dream #2: I was online on the BD, and I ran across Denethor's MSN screenname. (I don't know how I knew it was Denethor, but it was) We were talking, and he invited me over to Minas Tirith for a tea party. I was about to say yes, but then I thought, "Meela would be jealous..." and immeadiatly signed off. This proves Meela even frightens me in my dreams! (Oh, and BTW, his SN was fire_boi. Don't ask me where that one came from, but come it did.) smilies/rolleyes.gif That one was a bit weird too, but again, not as weird as some I've read 'round here! smilies/wink.gif

I had a really twisted dream last night:

I was Gil-galad's granddaughter (daughter of his daughter, yes, I know, non-canon), named Mirehen, and I had led a contingent of horsed archers to the Battle at Helm's Deep. I and my troops join the battle, and all the while, Legsie is checking me out like crazy. Then, when the wall beneath Aragorn is blown up, and he gets knocked out, he actually dies, but lives long enough to relinquish his kingship to me. (Don't ask). Anyway, the good guys still win, and that night, after a lot of drunken carousing, Legsie corners me going up to my "room," and well, you know the rest. smilies/evil.gif smilies/evil.gif smilies/evil.gif

Well, unfortunately, I usually can't remember all of my dreams, but I do remember a few LotR related ones.
In the first one, my friend(who is also a huge LotR fan) and I were tracking Gollum through the woods, and finally caught up with him at this pool, where he was fishing. Then, we started chasing him through the pool, swimming after him and all, because we really needed him to show us how to get to Mordor. Then I realized that I was the ring-bearer, and if we didn't catch Gollum, we wouldn't get to Mordor, and Sauron would rule ME.

Then I had one around 2 weeks ago where I was Arwen, and just as I was about to marry Aragorn, he was about to kiss me, and I woke up.

The next night, I dreamed I was another elf in ME, and was riding a horse and being chased by other riders. Anyways, I finally lost them, jumped off the horse and sent him home, and went off into the woods. I went across a field to meet the most gorgeous elf guy ever. He had dark brown hair, and really dark eyes, and was incredibly handsome. Apparantly we were in love, and somehow I knew that the riders that were chasing me had something to do with that, and didn't want us to see each other, and so we were meeting in secret. He told me that he would always love me, no matter what. I wish I would have more dreams like that, so I could find out the rest of my story, who I was, and who I was in love with. And why I was being chased.

One was that i was in the fellowship as a fifth hobbit... i dont remember much of that one

Another was that I took an elevator with a bunch of friends down in the ground to go into the Metro and then we were in Moria and we couldnt leave until we killed everything

and the last one is my favorite one... i was in a philidelphia venicey city and i went to look for my friends that wandered off and then i went to a 7-11 and there was a chance to meet the actors and visit New Zealnd and i won! and then i woke up...

I had another LotR related dream Saturday night!! Unfortunately, it wasn't as lovely as marrying Aragorn, or being in love with an incredibly handsome elf, like in my others. No, we couldn't have another nice dream, could we? It had to be one with her. I dreamed I was in Shelob's lair, only I didn't know what it was at the time. I think I was a hobbit, because I was really short. And there was somebody else in there, another hobbit in there who was following along behind me, only I don't remember who that was. I'm not sure if I was supposed to be Frodo, or some random hobbit, or what. Anyways, I was wandering through this cave type place down all the tunnels, and started seeing spider webs everywhere. Some where old cobwebs, but some were obviously newer, and looked like they were still in use by somebody. As I was creeping around, I got a strange feeling, and just knew there was a huge spider lurking around waiting for me. In the dream, I didn't realize it was Shelob, or know in advance there was a spider there or anything, and when I woke up, I didn't remember the dream at first. When I remembered about an hour later that morning, I knew it had been Shelob's lair that I had been in. It was really strange, because when I was in there in the dream, I didn't exactly know it was Shelob. I just had a feeling, probably from seeing all the spider webs, that there was a huge spider. I didn't know in advance or anything, just sensed it was there. Anyways, that's my latest LotR related dream!!

I had a dream that I was going to have my head chopped off because I was too young for something or other, but the headsman was a Nazgual and kept trying to stab my heart, but it didn't work because I was on a block. Then Faramir came up and said 'yes, she is indeed too young' and threw me out the window .....*worried* What a window was doing on an outside platform I'm not quite sure...

I dreamed that I was inside a pyramid (probably because my sister has been reading about that stuff lately) but instead of hieroglyphics on the walls there was tengwar. I tried to read it, but it was mixed up and made no sense. I went down some stairs to a large room in which I met a hobbit. He told me to go through rat-holes and find another hobbit, so I did. Don't ask me how I fit! I became hobbit-sized, I guess.

Well a couple nights ago i had a dream that I was with Lëowen and we were in the swamps, or the everglades or..somewhere of the sort, and then Aragorn and Pippin just..appeared and then Aragorn said "Let us move the Snapper Turtles, they are everywhere" Yes, thats right Snapper Turtles. Well then we started picking them up and putting them..somewhere..I'm not quite sure where they went, they kind of just floated away, and then after the Snapper Turtles where gone a rather large group of Orcs came and chased us away...and Aragorn screamed like a girl when he saw them. It was quite odd.

I had a dream once that I was being chased by evil children who turned into penguins when they got wet. They chased me onto the side of a mountain, where Aragorn found me and thought I was Frodo.
He took to me to hide in a log cabin, but we were chased by Nazgûl. I cowered under the window, in plain sight of the wraiths, but they didn't see me and just flew away even though they weren't riding their fell beast things.

Indeed! (Don't worry, I have a habit of saying that, even when I'm talking.) I would hate to have an 'ordinary' dream, though. Enough of that already in life.
Anyway, I had another one last night....

I was with the fellowship in some sort of sewer...I think I was myself...and we emerged into a desolate blackened city. Somewhere along the way they disappeared, and I was in a room hung all over with red curtains instead of doors. I was also being chased by Saruman and the Nazgual in rather riduculous looking red robes with black edging.
However, the red curtain I ended up going through at the end was NOT a door (haha!). It led out the window and I fell in the River Thames.

ok, I had a really weird one Thursday night. It wasn't set in Middle-earth, and it didn't exactly have a LotR character in it, but it's definitely LotR related. Although its set in my neighborhood, and with different people, I'm sure it will sound familiar. ok, now for the dream:
I was in my house, and there were some other people here too. The rest of my family was gone somewhere, and my neighbors were all at a house way down at the other end of the street. All except for the mother, who stayed behind. She was a little strange, and everybody thought she was going a little crazy, but she seemed somewhat sane most of the time. Anyways, she came to my house, and decided she was going to set fire to it. She was about to, and I stopped her. Then, I was in my room, and somebody else was in another room of the house. I don't know who it was, but in the dream, I knew the person. So the woman was going to go set fire to the other person, and burn him to death, then set herself on fire. She set fire right outside my room to try to keep me from stopping her, then she ran to the other room. She had piled up a bunch of stuff and was going to put the other person on top of it and set fire to it, then set herself on fire. So, I ran out of the house, ran down the street, and found somebody that I knew could stop her and save the person. He ended up getting saved, but the woman burned herself to death.
So, now because of LotR, I dreamed about a pyromaniac who tried to burn someone alive, and ended up burning herself to death. And I took on the role Pippin took of doing everything possible to get the one person I thought could save the poor victim. I do have very strange dreams.

i had a dream two nights ago that i was out to dinner with this family that was friends with elijah wood and they invited him too..and he autographed my drinking glass even though that doesnt make sense cuz it wasnt mine and i didnt even ask...from what i know of him i dont even like him very much as a person but that was weird.

The other day (or night), I had a dream that I was Legolas and I was with the Fellowship in one of my least favorite teacher's room. Everyone was depressed, but me. I was bouncing all around trying to cheer everone up, but they all just stared at their shoes and said nothing. Then one of my friends comes in and glares at me. I stop, and then another friend becomes Frodo, and Sam tries to cheer her up.

Another one is when my non-LORT friends, my LOTR buddies, and I are in Fangorn. I think we are at Entmoot, and the non friend says "look, talking, walking trees!" and Treebeard does his line about how they are not trees, but Ents, and begin to chuck large stones at her. My other friends and I start to giggle, and then it fades into blurs.

I've had this dream for two nights in a row now.

Apparently I'm a half-elf whose origins are unknown, and I was found by Elrond in some forest. He raised me like a second daughter, and I was still in Rivendell when the Council was held. I wanted to go with the Fellowship but Elrond wouldn't let me go. After the Fellowship left, I followed them all the way to Moria where they finally noticed I had been following them. They didn't do anything about my being there, however. Suddenly we're in Balin's tomb, and Gandalf is saying, "They are coming...we cannot get out." Then the orcs break into the tomb and we start fighting them. One of them throws a spear at Frodo, but I push him out of the way and it hits me instead. Legolas cries, "No!!" and rushes to my side; then I tell him that I'm dying and he should just go. So I'm left behind and this big orc comes up to me and says, "We're gonna cut you up good, she-elf." However, at that point I die and he gets all disappointed. Then I wake up.

Wow, that was a long, involved, and weird post. I wonder if I'll dream that again tonight? Then again, do I want to? This is really freaking me out. smilies/confused.gif smilies/eek.gif smilies/frown.gif

Aragorn was there too, he taught Merry to fly the plane.

Well, I dreamed I was Rosie Cotton! I loved that dream. Sam and I and a bunch of other hobbits were sitting around, and he was trying to get us to visualize a cloud of orange that turns into an orange square, and I was the only one who could do it. Kind of like those lights shows that appear when you close your eyes. So then we realized we were perfect for each other, and we were all happy. And he walked around grinning like he does at the wedding in ROTK (so cute). I don't know if there was a kiss involved or not, but I don't think so (rats!). And no, I'm not making any of this up. It sounds ridiculous when I tell it this way, but it had the incredible gravity that only a dream can have. And being Rosie was fun. smilies/biggrin.gif

Okay... a lot of people are dreaming about me...

I would be creeped out by that... But then my friend has had two dreams in which I die... Once by fell beast things, and once by a combination of impalement and spider bite. Very nice of him, I say! What's scary is that all of those references are vaguely LOTR-related.

Alright, I might as well come clean and tell about all of the other LOTR-related dreams I remember, because they're scaring me right now.

Dream #2: I am reading LOTR. That's it. I'm turning the pages and all, and hearing the narration in my head, as I always do when I read. Except I doubt it was the real version of LOTR, seeing as one chapter was only a page long. But somehow I knew it was.

Dream #3: This one's been haunting me. You know those dreams where you can float or fly? It was one of those. I am with two "friends" at night, about to do something crazy, namely, jump a fence onto someone's property. But it's really dark, and we're being chased by Ringwraiths. We jump over the fence and a series of rolling hills (every time we jumped, we floated for a long ways, sort of like in a video game). But when we were almost away, and there was only one more fence to leap over, I was caught by a Ringwratih-y thing. It was terrifying. It stroked me with really nasty long fingernails as I struggled to get free. And somewhere in there, my "friends" and I turned into little pieces of sausage.... so it was really weird. I was me and I was a piece of sausage. But it was infinately creepy.

In view of how long this post is getting, I think I'll save the other two for some other time. But I think you'll see just how crazy I really am. It comes out most in my dreams.

That's very...interesting. Whenever I have dreams about LotR I'm always an elf; always, no exceptions. However, sometimes I'm a half-elf, and other times I'm one of Glorfindel's relatives (his cousin or something, usually.) I either have dreams where I fall in love, die, or both; but I always wind up helping someone in an important quest. Last night I dreamed that I fell in love with a 52 yr.-old elf-he told me his age; I was 50 yrs.-old-we got married, and then FotR occured and I went instead of Legolas and got myself killed. Somehow Beryl (my elf husband) was there and I die in his arms. I think it's at Helm's Deep; possibly Haldir's death scene.

One dream I had was cool, scary, and weird at the same time. I was an Elf and I was walking in Isenguard after the Ents fixed it up and ran into Faramir. He asked me what my name was and I said it was Lenatha. He then whistled and Rangers came out of no where and grabbed me. I tried to get away but couldn't and they took me to Minas Tirith. Aragorn was the king and he asked me what I was doing. When I didn't answer, he threatened to put me in the dungen. As the guards are leading me away, Legolas pops up and rescues me. He then helps me get a horse and I escape to Rohan. After that I woke up.

In the last LOTR-related dream I had, my geometry teacher was trying to kill me (as in running after me with a knife). I arrived in a room with a gaint pool table and was trying to hide from her when Legolas and Gimli appeared out of nowhere and began arguing about who was stronger and who was prettier smilies/tongue.gif . I was suddenly transported outside of the school and all of the buses had run into each other, and there were people lying on the ground bleeding in random places. I tried to find someone who knew what was going on. My science teacher (who was directing traffic even though all of the buses couldn't move because they were totalled) had no idea what happened but he said to ask Gandalf. Gandalf came up to me and said, "fly, you fool!" Then I woke up.

I had just about the most messed up dream I've ever had in my life last night.

I was Meela's cousin, visiting her in Minas Tirith, but Denethor kept chasing me around with a torch, telling me that I needed to set my clothes on fire. He didn't give me any other explanation, he just kept yelling that my clothes needed to be put on fire. So, Denethor and all these Citadel Guards were chasing me around the place, and when I made it to the Gates, Faramir rode up and pulled me on the back of his horse. About three miles from the city, we met up with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli. Gimli randomly decapitated Faramir with his axe and told me that I deserved my own horse, while Legolas was staring at me. I find out that the three guys are going to Mordor, and I decide to go with them. When we get to the Morgul Vale, we're confronted by the Witch-king, and Aragorn stays behind to deal with him. Legolas, Gimli, and I journey into Mordor, and go all the way to the Plain of Gorgoroth. While we're walking through the Plain, Gimli trips and falls into one of the fissures, and the last thing that I hear him yell is, "Damn! Now Legolas is going to kill more Orcs!" Legolas and I walk to Mt. Doom and enter the Sammath Naur. When we get to the end of that little cliff, he turns around and tells me that he's Sauron's long-lost brother, who secretly helped him persuade Celebrimbor to forge the Rings of Power, and to punish himself for his crimes, he's going to jump into the lava. Legolas jumps in, but nothing happens to him. He just keeps swimming around, and yells up to me that the lava is great, and that I should jump in too. I tell him that he's a bloody idiot, and then that's when I woke up.

I had a dream that i woke up and went outside and there were all these hobbits runnign around in my backyard building hobbit holes.

I muttered "okay...." and then had my coffee on the back deck like a usually, just watching all these hobbits running around building thier holes. Until **ba ba ba!** <horror music> I noticed my horse was missing. I ran into my house and i asked my mother where the hell my horse had gone.

My mum looked at me like i was an idiot and said. "A man named Aragorn came and said he needed Octavian(horses name, he was very nice about it."

And i couldnt believe that my mother had just let some dirty ranger take my horse. And then i asked her why there were hobbits in the backyard and she laughed and said "They are funny, arent they?"

I had a dream about the Pelennor Fields last night, and it was a rather hilarious dream. As the oliphaunts and the Haradrim enter the fray, Gandalf suddenly rides out on Shadowfax and charges the enemy with his staff glowing. The white glow from his staff settled over the army of the Haradrim, and when it finally rises, all the soldiers are wearing bright pink boxers. They then proceed to run screaming at the top of their lungs at the Gondorians and Rohirrim in a rather suicidal charge. Unfortunately, that's when I woke up.


Suddenly, I'm starting to think that I really need to see a psychiatrist or something.

Last night, I dreamed that I was chasing a car which had the fellowship in it, and they wouldn't stop for me, so I grabbed the door handle and got pulled along for a while until I got the door open and got inside. Then I saw Pippin walking, and realized that he didn't know the way to where we were going, and I did, so I told them to stop the car so I could get out, but they wouldn't stop, so I opened the door and stepped out, falling flat on my face. Then I walked with Pippin to wherever it was we were going, I woke up before we got there. I must have been a hobbit, because Pippin was taller than me. I agree, I do have an overactive imagination. It's beginning to spill over into my daydreams. Today, I thought I saw an Ent. Honestly! As my school bus goes around a corner of the school grounds, there are these two huge trees on the corner, that look exactly like Treebeard with his arms raised up in the air. I honestly thought that I saw the trees move. Then again, I did only have two hours of sleep last night, so I was probably hallucinating.

We were in a parking garage fighting off orcs, and everyone thought I was Aragorn for some strange reason. Ok, last night I had one of those dreams where there is an unidentified person, and when you wake up you suddenly know who it was. I dreamed that there was this strangely handsome, silent man staying with my family, sort of like an exchange student. His name was Spam; at least that's what we were calling him. I remember that he, my family, and I were eating spaghetti dinner but there was not enough spaghetti for him and I felt really bad for him. "Spam" didn't seem to speak English and my whole family was ignoring him.

I dreamed I was in Mt. Doom, and before the ring could be destroyed I had to win a game of scrabble against Sauron. I knew I could win if I made a certain word (what that word was, I don't remember). I finally was able to spell that word, right before I woke up.

I had an interesting dream last night.

Denethor, Gandalf, Boromir, Faramir, Aragorn, Legolas, elves, men, dwarves... pretty much anyone and everyone from Lotr, were gathered in a room and were arguing.
Gandalf began yelling at Denethor, then Boromir got frustrated and stabbed Denethor. Denethor giggled, a pyre appeared out of nowhere behind him, and he fell back onto it and got set alight.

To that end, my latest subconscious creation, although not involving a single LOTR character or actor: I dreamed I had an encounter with a small girl who appeared to be about 6 or 7, but who was in fact, a teenager (maybe a hobbit, but I didn't think of that until later). She told me that she could see a whole lot of people all around me and in the room we were in (we were the only people there to my eyes). Laid out on the bed was an ornate tunic in green and gold, and there were other accoutrements present that suggested the color scheme of Edoras or even of Rivendell. These pieces were of exquisite workmanship and suddenly appeared. I knew them for artifacts of Middle Earth. The girl knew them better than I...not much there, but it must be real somewhere! smilies/wink.gif

So I`m not the only one who has extremely weird dreams! I swear, I`ve never had an intelligent, make-sensible dream before. ("make-sensible"? hmmm... maybe I had better lay off the candy for a couple hours.) I have so many LotR related dreams I can`t remember them all! There`s AlWAYS something LotR related in my dreams. I`m usually one of the characters. Often times there are Barrow-Downers in my dreams, though I`ve never met any of you in person. Let`s see... I had an LotR dream last night. I was Frodo (I am usually a guy in my dreams and never a girl. I have a very strange mind.) and had to destroy the ring. So Sam and I set out for Mount Doom. It was a long journey, which included Rivendell, The Fellowship of the Ring, Lothlorien, Gollum, The Dead Marshes, The Black Gate, Minas Morgul, The Stairs of Cirith Ungol, Shelob`s Lair, ect. It was a rather long dream, or so it seemed. Finally we got to Mount Doom. I was about to throw the ring in when along comes Gollum and bites off my finger. (Since I never put the ring on, I don`t know why this happened.) Gollum now had the ring. I thought, "In the movie, I`m supposed to kind of jump on Gollum."(don`t ask.) So I did, knocking him in, and leaving me hanging off the edge. It was almost exactly like the movie on that part, except for my stupid little thought. The ring was destroyed. Sam pulled me up. For some reason I was now myself. I often change people in my dreams. I walked home (with Sam loyally following behind. I guess he didn`t notice I was no longer Frodo. I didn`t.) as if I were walking home from school, except instead of the school being there, it was Mount Doom. I got home, my hand still bleedind and covered in blood. My mom walked in and asked where I`d been. She didn`t notice that my One Ring wasn`t hanging around my neck (it usually is), that I was missing a finger, covered in ash and dust, wearing an elven cloak, had hairy hobbit feet (yes I still had my hobbit feet), and that there was a Samwise Gamgee standing beside me. (Whew! Talk about run-on sentences!) She only asked where I had been. I told her about the whole entire journey, how I was bitten and nearly eaten by a huge spider, perilously (sp?) trudged through Mordor, almost fell into a volcano, and saved all of Middle Earth. "You What?!" she screamed. "That ring cost you a lot of money!" (I ordered it online) "But I saved Middle Earth from Sauron!" I argued. I was then sent to my room and grounded. As I went down the stairs to my room, I could hear Sam saying something about going where he couldn`t go. Something else happened after that, but I don`t know what it was. Very strange though I`ve had worse. I have a strange yet very creative mind when I`m sleeping. (Why can`t it be like that in school when I have to write something?) Oh, well. Maybe I should be an author, and write about my really good dreams.

My odd dream..I dreamt this right after TT came out on video, so even though i dreamed i was going to see ROTK i hadn't actually seen it yet...I had posted this on another message board, so I just copied and pasted it to here smilies/smile.gif

First of all, I said I was going to go see the Lord or the Rings: The Return of the King. Apperently I did not mean in theatres, I was going to be right there on the set (or something...the characteurs were no long actors but real ppl that actually looked like that)

I walk through these doors that look a lot like the doors from the back room at work, and I see a gravelly area with a small grassy hill, and beyone the hill is a huge river. Sitting on the hill is Aragorn, Gollum/Smeagol, and Sam.

Sitting on a blanket in the gravel is Merry, Pippin, Frodo. Sitting on a rock a ways off in the gravel is Gandalf. Gimli is walking beside me coming out the doors. He is wearing a Green felt hat with a red feather. I greet him and he says "I'm not Gimli. I'M LEGOLAS" So I apologize, and greet him as Legolas. He says "You believe me?" And I say "Of course. You've never lied to me before." (this is my first time talking to him) Then a glowing elf appears and says "No I AM LEGOLAS (looks more like Haldir to me...) So Gimli takes off the hat and says "I'll just be Gimli then"

Then Haldir/Legolas disappears into thin air, and Gimli goes and sits between Gandalf and Merry, Pippin and Frodo. I go to climb up to sit with Sam, Aragorn and Gollum, who are eating Sandwiches. Aragorn yells at me to bring the ziplock bags with me. So I grab a box of ziplock bags that Merry, Pippin and Frodo had, and start to climb the hill, as I'm near the top I hand Aragorn the bags...they suddenly turn into no name bags. Aragorn also has no name Saranwrap and Aluminum foil beside him. I Look Aragorn in the eye and say "Tell me the truth Aragorn....When I handed you those bags, they were Ziplock, weren't they. Now they are just the cheap no name brand. I bet Ziplock paid a lot to get the ziplock brand in this movie. DIDN"T THEY ARAGORN" Aragorn nods, and I sit down satisfied with the answer.

Then this big grey boat goes by in the river (it's huge and shaped like a submarine, but above water) Suddenly it tips over and and this girl with blond hair and glasses and a pony tail falls off with her dog. (Gollum is no longer with us) Aragorn jumps into the river to save her, and brings her up out of the water. But the girl jumps back in to save her dog. Aragorn tries to tell her the dog is dead, but she won't listen. Aragorn jumps in after the girl again, but we see Aragorn float by us again without her looking dead himself. I jump in after Aragorn and discover millions of Orcs and Seaweed hiding in the River. Aragorn is nearby, and the water is really muddy. The Orcs Start to carry me away, but suddenly I am saved by Gollum who is carrying me under one arm and Aragorn under the other (we never find the girl). Aragorn thanks Gollum. Merry and Sam and Frodo and Gimli are cheering. Gandalf is concentrating on smoke rings he hasn't noticed anything. I look at Gollum suspiciously and ask what he was doing with all the orcs under water. He mumbles something, and now everyone is asking. He throws a fit and says "I WAS JUSSST USSING THEIR COMPUTER TO CHECK MY EEEE-MAILLL" We all laugh at him and grab an email in his hand that he had printed off. I read it "TO EBAY PERSON...HOW MUCH IS S&H ON THAT ONE RED POTATO" Now we are laughing more, even Gandalf "YOU BID ON EBAY...AND ON A POTATO AT THAT!!!! A HA HA HA!"

Gollum points at Sam and says "Yes, BUt I DIDN"T WANT THE SSSTUPID FAT HOBBIT TO KNOW! YOU GUYS ARE MEAN!"

I had an interesting dream. One of the better ones of these past few weeks.

I was racing through the Paths of the Dead with Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, etc. Parts of the Paths kept morphing into my kitchen...
Aragorn kept on stopping at various red pillar post boxes that appeared on the side of the Paths, as he had some very important letters to send (some to Arwen, some to Elrond, some to Theoden).
As we were running through the Paths, Denethor kept on coming out of nowhere and trying to steal me away. Aragorn was pulling me away from him and on down the Path, while Gandalf popped up and bashed Denethor about with his staff.

We were resting in Lothlorien, and I was a part of the fellowship, and there was this certain kind of sexual tension in between us. We were sleeping, and he woke up and came to my side, and woke me up. It was night time and everybody else was asleep. We got up and walked off...alone. You get the picture. Maybe this is another reason for slash sites. This was the best dream I ever had.

I dreamed that I was with the Fellowship, and we were fighting some orcs at a mall. It was really weird, cuz when we didn't manage to kill an orc, somebody yelled 'cut' and we had to do a retake. Suddenly a troll with human sized body and enormous head came out of a store (think Shrek, only bigger). We ran out to the parkinglot, and sailed away in some crappy boats. It was a bit more, but I can't remember it.

~I was standing outside of my school cafeteria and for some reason Gimli and Aragorn were inside talking to some girls in my class. Legolas was about to go in and join them when I pulled him aside and asked him to spy on them. He agreed and then I handed him a fishing pole.

~My cousin was talking to Legolas somewhere in ME. I think it was East of the Misty Mountains, near Lothlorien maybe? Anyway, Legolas was telling him about the Battle of Helm's Deep. Then suddenly my cousin turned into an orc and Legolas took out his bow and shot him.

~This weekend I had a dream that Orlando came to my house. I don't know why he was there or how he got there. We were sitting in my kitchen talking about soccer and Dr. Pepper. Then he said he had to leave. I think he said something about Oscars. He said he would come back soon.

And no, I am not a Leggybopper or anything...
Finwe, during your first dream on this page I laughed so hard. That is so funny.

funny that I ran across this thread because just last night I had a dream I was with Samwise Gamgee and we were sorta pals, but I don't think I was a hobbit then, I was human. we were joking about him finding the girl of his dreams in the pub and that it would be a waitress. then we settled into the pub and looked for someone to get our order, she (the ordertaker, the waitress) came from behind sam and when she asked what we would get, sam turned around and was caught mesmerized. the girl was really adorable, yep looked like rosie. and then they left me there and they just went out of the pub together. haha!

alone now, I went to the pub's upper level and there I saw aragorn and some human pals having some drink, i couldn't recall who the others were but I remember they all have long hair and beard like aragorn (faramir was there). then he asked me if I have something to win our bet (it seemed that my dream suggests that prior to our meeting, aragorn and i had made a bet about something). then I said "yeah, and you will be on your knees now." I took off my helmet from my head (i don't know where that came from, you know bizarre dreams are, kinda like the way eowyn took the helmet off her head when she slayed the Nazgul King in the movie). Then I said, "I have long hair," revealing my long dark tresses (that's my hair in real life). aragorn and the rest of the guys fell silent but aragorn then said, "big deal, we all have long hair, for all we know you could still be a man." haha! now I know our bet was about me proving to them that I am a woman. i replied, "that is not all. meet me here tomorrow night and I will show you more," I handed him a piece of paper. he agreed. so i walked away smiling. then I woke up. weird, weird, weird...i don't even know what that paper contained. smilies/tongue.gif

Had a dream last night, i was on the train and Karen from Will and Grace was having a row with Aragorn and then the guys from Queer Eye came and sat down next to Karen just looking at Aragorn as if to say "you dirty bum with no fashion sense" and then the train stopped and Karan looked at me and said "Honey, this is your stop" and i got off the train.

Yesterday, I found this site, and was so happy that I couldn't stop thinking about LOTR. That must be why I had this dream....


I was in Rohan (you know how you just know things in your dream) and then Faramir rode up to me, and I said "Korean translation of your words in the movie were wrong, you know. It was "Those who were loyal to Rohan" and the stupid Koreans heard it "Those who were royal to Rohan" and translated it that way." (This is true)

And then Faramir said something about Great tidings, I must warn the king and galloped away.

Suddenly I was in this battlefield and Eomer was crying, "Ride, ride to ruin adn to world's ending"

Then ships with black sails came up, only that it was not black sails but was korean movie poster of lotr.

Then, Denethor said, "Burn! We shall burn like heathen kings" and then everything just blazed up and consumed the field, enemies and all.

Well, that was it.

I dreamed that the sixth Harry Potter book had just been released, and I saw a copy of it in Barnes and Noble. The cover had Harry sitting at a table (probably in Hagrid's hut) and he was staring at a dragon egg that had a phoenix hatching out of it. I picked up the book and started reading it, and then I got to the part where Sirius appears to Harry. Now here's where it actually relates to LotR: I always imagine what the chacters should look like in my head, but this time Sirius looked like Viggo Mortensen! He was dressed in black robes but he had Anduril belted around his waist and he had that silver ring with the green stone on his finger. Then he started quoting lines from the chapter with the Paths of the Dead, and I woke up.

All four hobbits and I were climbing this...thing... it was a bunch of rocks piled up on each other that stretched miles into the sky and had a flat grassy/rocky top. well, we reached it and Frodo destroyed the ring and we were climbing down and had to be very careful and I almost slipped and died. Then we got to the bottom and were resting and I had my eyes closed and Merry and Pip were whispering about Frodo watching me sleep. (??) Then I woke up and we found a treasure chest in this drawer that was at the bottom of this cliff and I split it between us then went to my living room and gave my sister her share. (??) then I woke up.

I know a lot of people post their dreams on here, but I figured I would post my crackpot interpretations too! I only did the last three, and none of this is very scientific (or probably even right!) but it was fun! smilies/biggrin.gif

I had a dream where two of my friends and I were at a party outside a castle. Then Orlando Bloom showed up and stood behind my to friends, and I said "Dude he's right behind you." and they started to freak out. Then they both went into the castle, but Orlando didn't let me in and left me out in the rain. I started to walk away, but then Orlando called to me saying "Come back I'm sorry!" then I woke up.

I was in my friend Evan's car (a tiny, sleek black sports car), and I was making out with him, but suddenly he turned into Galadriel, and I didn't even notice for about five minutes. Once I did, I just looked at her for two seconds, and kept making out with her. Then the top of the car flew off. Then... I woke up. smilies/biggrin.gif

I've had two LOTR's dreams:

In the first one, I was Eowyn fighting along side an army of Gondorian Men. Our enemy was none other than the Rohirrim! Very strange, but often times dreams don't make any sense. Anyway, we were way outnumbered, so we ended up barricading ourselves in an abandoned farm house. We thought we had lost them (we were hiding) but when we looked out the windows, we saw the Rohirrim coming towards us. We decided to make a desperate attempt to evade them. We got back on our horses and "rode through them." In other words, the Rohirrim were extremely unorganized and had big gaps in between their different little companies, so my fellow soldiers and I rode our horses through the gaps (much like Eowyn did with the elephant's legs in ROTK). We made it to yet another building that we could barricade ourselves in. But the Rohirrim surrounded the building, and we had no choice but to negotiate with them. As Eowyn and a kinswoman to the enemy, I was made to do this. Then the dream took a strange turn - as it turned out, I was not Eowyn, but rather Galadriel disguised as her, and when I went out to greet the Rohirrim, they were "dazzled" by the light of my presence. Some of them bowed to me, while others just stood and stared. Only Theoden, mounted on his horse, held himself up as my equal quietly refused any "groveling". I eventually was able to create peace between the Rohirrim and Gondorians.

My second dream was a lot less lenghty, and much simpler. I must have been some kind of Hobbit, maybe Pippen, and I was traveling alone with Legolas. Everything was fine, until we got attacked by this big huge monster. Quickly, Legolas took my hand and ran with me. But he was so fast that I could hardly keep up, and my hand began to grow numb from his constant pulling and tight grip. He eventually picked me up and put me on his back (remember, I was a Hobbit) and began to run even faster while I just held on for dear life. After a few more minutes of running across planes and finding no cover, we came to a small rock formation, and it had a little cave (though it was so small that it was more like a niche) at the bottom of it. Legolas stopped running, took me off his back, and shoved me rather forcefully into the little cave, then turned around to face the monster. I came then to a rather humiliating realization: the Elf had not been running from the monster because he couldn't fight it, but because he had wanted to get me out of danger before he attempted to do so. Needless to say, I felt pretty useless at that moment. I watched the battle ,spralled out flat on my stomach, from the tiny whole that was the mouth of the cave. Legolas killed the monster, and that's all I can remember.

If you just got through all of that, I congratulate you!

And now for mine. I was at a shopping mall, in the food court and Legolas was in a booth signing autographs. Then I looked over and Orlando Bloom was in a different booth signing autographs. I got both their autographs and then I walked up to Orlando and told him that he had cool sunglasses. Then I pointed to a guy in my class that I really don't like and said, "Man, I hate that guy." Orlando said, "Okay, I'll go beat him up for you." I replied with "Okay." Then I woke up.

Here's another; I'm not sure if I've told this one yet. Me, my friends Anita and Brittney and Dominic, Billy and Elijah were all on a yacht in the middle of the river by my town. We were running around the yacht, having fun, when I fell in the water. I swam up to the surface but I couldn't swim any more, so Dominic had to jump in and get me. Then there was this strange kid skateboarding around on top of the water (all of a sudden it was solidified) and I said, "Be careful! There are holes that you can fall into! Oh wait...never mind!" Just then, a helicopter flew over and hovered about 100 yards away from us. It dropped someone out of it onto the water and flew away. We all hid and peeked out of holes in the yacht, and discovered that it was Orlando Bloom. Dominic ran at him and gave him a bear hug, and then all of a sudden the actors were crammed into a tiny SUV on the shore, and I wanted to go get their autographs but they drove away. The End.

I had a dream about a bunch of orcs riding on the movie-distinct warg/lemmings. Strangely, I was in the lead, riding a fellbeast. Then there were foxes....many foxes. The dream departed from LotR after that, but I was still riding the fellbeast at the end of it, plummeting to inevitable dream-doom.

Yes, I have read book five, and no, I am not one of those fans who cried their eyes out for hours after reading it. I just think that it would make sense for Sirius to make a brief appearance like Cedric, Bertha, and Frank (the old man), and Harry's parents did in book four. This could easily explain that part of my dream, and my obsession with LotR explains the rest. Except for the cover. I still have no clue where that came from. smilies/confused.gif

I don't remember what he said except for the last sentence before I woke up: "If you want short stubby fingers you should eat goldfish crackers."

Except for the cover. I still have no clue where that came from.

Just wait until the sixth book really does come out, and see if the cover is the same as you dreamed. Things like that happen to me sometimes, mostly about what clothes my friends are going to wear the next day. It's a little creepy.

Well, there's my lame attempt at being a dream interpreter. Hopefully we'll get the "correct" interpretation soon.

(That cover's still bugging me. I've had dreams of deja vu before, so I'll only be mildly surprised if that turns out to be the actual cover; or at least something close to it.)

I was on my familiar fellbeast, clad in neat Nazgul armor from the movie. Then, I fell off, onto a warg. So far, very LotRish, until now! I was on a giant pie, which my warg was eating. To my extreme dream disgust, I realized the pie was made of severed heads (that's the thing about dreams, you can't close your eyes cuz they're already closed). The warg suddenly died, which, for some reason, I'd expected. Than oliphaunts and zebras (zebras???). The trampled me into the pie and I fell of the pie's edge, falling into something that looked mildly like Cirith Ungol. The dream ended before I hit bottom.

I woke up last night at around 3 AM and was like "What the heck was that?"

OK here it starts, I was in my Biology class but it looked like my school in the '40's (as well as the students) and i wasnt listening (as usual) I was staring out the window, and all of a sudden in the quiet of the classroom I hear this vioce yelling at the front of the room. "Miss Vallen!" and Itw as my teacher, only it wasnt my teacher it was Denethor.

"What are you doing." he snaped at me storming to my desk.

"Nothing Sir." I said and he looked really angry and then he sent me out of the class room, and i cried becuase i couldnt believe it, but then John Galliano came down the hall and invited me shopping.

Talk about wierd, me crying at school! As if!

Rofl! I had another weird one. In my American Literature class we've started a unit on storytelling, but we are also allowed to tell narrative poems or sing them if we want to. Well, I dreamed that I decided to sing "Into the West," and I told my teacher that I had it memorized. For some reason, my Amer. Lit. teacher that day was the Freshman English teacher; who also happns to be the choir teacher. Well, I started singing, but after I finished the song, he said, "You know that there are seven more verses don't you?" When I said I didn't, he gave me a sheet of paper with the lyrics for "Into the West" on it, but with seven more verses! He told me to start over and sing the whole thing. Suddenly he turned into Legolas, and we were at the Grey Havens. He told me to sing the song, but I told him I couldn't because I didn't have the words, which I didn't; the sheet of paper was gone. He said, "But you know it by heart." So I sang the song again, and stopped at the lines "Grey ships pass, into the west," and he said, "See? I told you." Then I woke up to hear the song playing on my stereo; I'd left it on all night, and the song was on "Repeat." smilies/rolleyes.gif

Anyway, I dreamed I was on a horse riding across Rohan, going to some far off battle in Gondor. Gandalf suddenly shows up beside me riding shadowfax, and says, "Go to Frodo and make sure he throws the ring into Mt. Doom." Then I am automatically transported next to Frodo, who has this crazed look on his face saying, "It is mine, my own my precious." Then he suddenly pushes me into Mt. Doom and I fall and land on Golllum.

Luckily I woke up before the dream got any wierder. Help decipher that Dream.

This is actually my friends dream, and...ummm...for lack of a better word, it's very interesting.

It was Orlando's birthday, and we were racing accross a desert (which was actually the Atlantic) on ostriches. (???) I was in the lead, and was kicking my ostrich to go faster and faster, and then my shoes flew off, and I started throwing a major temper tantrum. to make matters worse, my ostrich turned around and started pecking me. My friend left me then, riding on ahead and laughing her head off. She got there first, so she got to marry Orlando, and they had a son. (It was still the same day - freaky!) Their house was made entirely of glass, and there was a river running through it. (???) Smeagol then showed up, carrying me (the streets were really icy, and I was barefoot) He was wearing a pink lacy bonnet, no shirt, and really baggy khaki pants. (?!?!) Behind him was running lots of little Smeaglings (picture the Smeagol I just explained, except about an inch high). She let us in, and we all took an elevator ride to the top floor, where the kitchin was. Gimli was in there, baking a cake. We all then decided to go swimming in the river, when she woke up. I'd like to see Lyta try to decipher this one...I wish you good luck from the bottom of my heart!!!:D

OMG!!! I just remembered this one on the way home from school. I actually dreamt this about five years ago, so I don't remember too much of it. I was typing a pm to someone, only the characters were green on a black background; not black on a white background like they should have been. Somehow I knew that I was talking to a guy, and I knew that he had dark hair and was wearing a white shirt very similar to the infamous "pirate shirt" from the show Seinfeld. I don't remember what we talked about exactly, but I think it had something to do with Frodo's decision to take the One Ring. I woke up not long after we ended our conversation.

(Note to Sleepy Ranger: I swear I am not making this up, but I have a feeling that I was talking to you. I remembered it not too long after you sent me that last pm.):confused: :eek:

I have lots of dreams concerning LOTR, as I am the type who remembers what dream I've had. But most of them are fuzzy and makes no sense at all.

For instance, I dreamt yesterday that I was wielding this Anduril to save lotr while harry potter fans were surrounding me with flaming brands, and then suddenly they turned into balrogs and I was fighting them. I suddenly lost my footing, and fell down into a deep, deep fountain with Gothmeg, lord of balrogs. I realised soon that it was actually the local swimming pool and Gothmeg rose up and started gobbling up every swimmer in sight, crying "Udun!" to the sound of my clapping. Pretty insane, huh?

I had a dream...(woah! that sounds familiar!;) ) I had a dream that I was drinking a smoothie with Galadriel and we were doing each others nails at the Supermarket, when all of a sudden, Celeborn walked in and said, "This is a hold-up!" I started laughing, and music started somewhere, and everyone started doing the Cha-Cha Slide...and then I woke up...ummm...yeah...:rolleyes:

Well, Finwe, as the risk of sounding presumptuous, perhaps your choice of makeout partner is interchangeable about now and you could gain as much satisfaction with Galadriel in that place as with your friend! Maybe it is the act and not the person you focus upon and you are waiting for a revelation based on your internal reactions to it. (Not what you thought I was gonna say, was it?) ;) By the way, none of these analyses are based on any sort of system. I just go with impressions and connections...

I'm guessing you're young and living at home with parents, so you appreciate them but wish you had your own power and the chance to wield it effectively.

The pie is the source and end of all that lives in flesh and dreams are a way to outdistance time and space so that you realize that every being or creation has its ultimate source in every other.

Perhaps also, you have a clear image of the severed heads careening over the walls of Minas Tirith and, as omniscient observer, can both feel the agony of the deaths of all of them and also feel the impulses which caused the deaths, the fog of battle sort of thing. When you fell off the edge, you may have contemplated the universe beyond the mere carnal circus of life or war or any human experience. Falling dreams can be this way!

And now, as my brain is turning to mush, I take my leave.

Wow, I had a really weird one last night. I was in art class, and suddenly all of my classmates turned into Barrowdowners. I'm not sure who all was there, but I know Saucepan Man, Meela, and possibly Finwe and Estanesse were there. Then Estanesse and I came up with the idea that we were going to draw LotR characters. Everyone agreed. I announced that I did not want to draw Denethor because he was my mean old Grandfather (????). Meela said something to defend Denethor and that she would draw him. So we all started drawing, and then my teacher announced that despite the closets full of art supplies we did not have the supplies we needed to finish the projects. So we used chalk pastels instead, which completely wrecked the drawings. Then Estanesse and I said sadly, "You all knew this never would work, didn't you?" and everyone was really sympathethic, but they agreed that, yes, they had known. Then Saucepan Man, who wasn't being sympathetic like everyone else said, "Yeah, of course we knew." and something like the rolleyes smilie appeared and the dream ended.

I had a deam that I was watching the Telletubbies (sp?) and I somehow knew that Frodo was under the Tinki-Winki costume, Sam was under Dipsy, Pippin was under LaLa, and merry was under Po. They kept singing Into the West by Annie Lennox, but it was an opera and they were all wailing their heads off. Then I offered them a bowl of soup (through the TV) and they aaccepted. They crawled through the TV and drank my soup, but they never stopped singing...and then I woke up...:confused:

Last night, I had one of my weirdest dreams EVER!!!
I was at school with two of my friends and someone was making a movie there. Me and my friends were extras in the movie and were just wlking in circles. Suddenly I saw one of these trailer thingies that the actors use on the set, and I screamed: 'OH MY GOD!!!! Orlando Bloom!!!!' My friends asked if I could see him, but I just answered that he had to be in there, cus he's an actor. So we ran over to the trailer to get his autograph. He was in the trailer playing Play Station. I knocked on the door, and he opened up. Somehow, I couldn't talk english in the dream, and it ended up with him writing his name on both of my arms like 40 times. He wasn't nice at all! He was arrogant and conceited.
Suddenly, I was somewhere else, and my friends were replased with another friend. We decided to interview mr. Bloom, and wrote some questions on a pillow(!!??). There were also some pictures of Legolas on the pillow. We came back to the trailer, and knocked on the door (again). Then my friend said she had to go, and ran off. 'Then I've got him all to myself,' I thought. The door opened up, but there was no Orlando! There was a Rowan Atkinson!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! He invited me in to do the interview, and I came in. But the questions were intended for Orlando, so they didn't fit for mr. Bean at all! 'How do you feel about the fact that nearly all teenage-girls and homosexuals have posters of you on their walls?' were one of the questions, and I couldn't ask him that. So I simply asked him what he was doing here. He said he was here to do the 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'-movie.
Then, luckily, I woke up.
And I still don't get how Rowan Atkinson can play You-Know..err.. Voldemort. Gonna be weird...

Since one week I only dream Lord of the Rings related things..

Last night I dreamed that I went skiing with my mother, my sister and many people I didn't knew. Suddenly somebody said that his friend was missing. So we all divided into teams to search his friend. Nothing to do with Lord of the Rings?? Well then I found out that Frodo was in my team...

Do I have to worry about the fact that I possibly dream lord of the rings related things every night for the rest of my life???

Last night, I had the most vivid dream of my life!

I was in Elf armor, on a battlefield, with Hadhafang, fighting next to Aragorn. All my opponents were cloaked like the Nazgul, but they were mortal. After a while, Aragorn and I were the only ones left, and we were backed up against a mountainside, while we were still on our horses. Aragorn went down for a couple of seconds, but I managed to pull him up onto my horse, while still fighting. All the while, I felt each and every cut and wound as it was slicing into me. After killing a bunch of people, we managed to cut our way free, and get to Rivendell, where Arwen and Legolas welcomed us. The weird thing is, when I woke up, my arms and torso were covered with bloody scratches and I had bitten my lip. :eek:

You really i mean, REALLY don't want to know what happens in my dreams... but okay since you guys are such great friends!

ok here's how it goes....

the Ka woke up and like in most dreams, i wasn't in my bed. Instead i was in a casket shaped like a boat but, not in the water. All i could smell was the velvet sided paneling of the casket. Then all of the sudden i heard yelling it was a man's voice saying, " Open it ! Open it! I tell you someone's inside!" Then the casket began to rattel and shake from someone on the outside violently hitting it. I began to have doubts that either i was in trouble and accused of some crime, or someone was trying to save me from being buried alive. When the top opened a flood of light came in and the frantic man that was yelling was Boromir and a bunch of other people.

Well, that's all i remember, or i wish to tell, Blessed be everyone!

Well, let's see. I had this dream I was at an end o' the year field trip at school, and Faramir tagged along. Well, he and one of my classmates got eaten by a seahorse on that one Journey to Atlantis ride at Seaworld...and Legolas was just standing there for no good reason. Lëowen was hissing and screaming 'NOOOO! WE CAN'T GO ON THE RIDE!! WE'LL DIE IF WE WALK IN THE WET!!!' (which, ironically, is something she'd probably really say.)
Then some other stuf I won't really bother explaining because it has little to do with LotR, and/or I'd just rather not. Then all of a sudden said classmate and Faramir re-appear and tell about how they got eaten by a seahorse. Legolas dissappears. Then all of a sudden I'm witnessing Uncle Dom attempt suicide by jumping out of the window of a skyscraper...which suddenly turns into a one-story house.

Then there was that one dream where Merry and Pippin were stand-up comedians, and LotR was being filmed in a big tent in a playground in New Zealand. *blink* And there were rows and rows of really awesome Merry and Pippin action figures. :rolleyes: :D :D

Been a while since I've been on this thread!

Anyways.... The most recent dream I've had was influenced by a science 'field trip' to Cope Park, and small playground next to Gold Creek. In the dream, I found the fellowship lost in the woods, and I asked them what was wrong. They blamed Legolas for reading the map upside down, and I said that I knew where they were going (even though I didnt). I told them to follow me, and I started up a trail to my 'secret spot' named Rohani. When we got to the pipe/wooden bridge that crossed the creek 10 ft. below, they didnt believe me and gave me wierd looks. I crossed over to the other side and said "See, it's right down this way". And then I was checking the trail behind them to see if anyone was following, I was expecting lawers (????). They finally came acrost and I told them to just follow the trail up onto another trail, which led to another trail, that lead onto another trail, that lead to where they were going (and what's sad is that this series of trails exist!)

I had another one where there was a hobbit in orc garb with a knife and we were in a hand-to-hand combat, circling eachother. Then they pounced, sliced my skin near my chin, and jumped onto my chest knocking the wind out of me. It turned out to be my evil cat jumping onto my bed. I think I'll keep the scar......

What's sad, is that I have read this thread before and have had dreams influenced by previous posts. Like Meela and Finwe(*cough, cough*) but I dont remember what they were about other than I had read them before and who wrote them.

My latest dream was that I was a servent in the Citadel and one of my brothers was trying to kill me. I was screaming and everything but my brother was still trying to strangle me and down the dark hallway comes Denethor and his guards.
"What is this?" he says in his vioce... (you know deep and dark and threaening) "Take this man away!" he orders them and my brother is taken to the citadel gaol. "Now, if anyone else comes to kill you my girl, just let Faramir know, im sure he will try and save you." he says and I bow and he walked away.

It was very strange, it was followed by a nightmare about... somethign else, cant remember, but it was a bad night for dreaming.

I had the worst dream any LOTR fan could have.... a world without LOTR!!! dun dun dun!!!!!!!!!!! I walked around asking people if they wanted to see it and they were like what's that? It was horrible. *starts rocking*

I dreamed that there was a boat (probably the Interceptor) outside my house, wich is impossible, cus I live in something like a forrest. On the boat was commodore Norrington, governor Swann and Elisabeth. They were all looking at a small boat, containing Captain Jack Sparrow. I kinda was Elisabeth, and I had forgotten all about Will, and was heart broken since Jack was leaving me. So I jumped off the Interceptor to get to Jack, but he just kept on rowing. So I think I drowned.:(
The only thing this dream had to do with LotR, was that Will/Legolas was there somewhere. Oh well:p

i dreamed that i was on this sort of journey with a group of people i dont' know (not the fellowship). but one of them was aragorn, but he looked like this guy i know, stephen. i mean, i can see how i dreamed that, because stephen acts exactly like aragorn. so anyway, we (aragorn and i) had to go off and finish the journey without them (like frodo and sam), but, unlike the book, they all saw us off. but i remember that while we were in this thin little elvish boat, aragorn was in the form of a wolf. so i guess that means i see aragorn, stephen, and wolves as the same thing? yeah... i guess...

Had another dream... this time also about a boat.
Some members from the Fellowship (Aragorn, Pippin, Legolas and Gandalf), Sirius Black, Snape, Harry, Ron and Hermione and I had to flee the country (I don't know which country).
So, we got this boat, and started sailing. It went really fast, but when we had travelled for a coupple of days, Gandalv had to go back.
He had forgotten something (I think it was his toothbrush), and he could suddenly fly! But again, he had forgotten something, so Sirius had to fly after him.
They both died, and we was captured by some Slytherin-punks.
Eternal slavery at a boat that was called Gondor, but was Hoggwarts. So weird...:rolleyes:

Last night, I had a dream that I walked into a video store with my Mom. I saw a RotK movie poster on the wall so I went over to look at it. There were pictures of Sam, Frodo, and Gollum and Mt. Doom on it. All of a sudden I turned into Sam, and Frodo and Gollum were right beside me. (We were still in the video store) Then Frodo started to run as fast as he could to the back of the video store. Lo and Behold, the entrance to the Cracks of Doom were there! Frodo runs in and is standing there and I (being Sam) said something like "No, Frodo, no!" I ran in and grabbed him and pushed him into the fire. Then suddenly we were all at the entrance the video store and Frodo again starts running to the Cracks of Doom. I catch up to him, and Gollum comes up behind us and pushes Frodo in. We were then at the entrance to the video store again and Frodo (aren't you surprised?) starts running back to the Cracks of Doom. I run as fast as I can and catch up to Frodo who is looking into the fire and I was running so fast I couldn't stop. I ran into Frodo and we both fell in. We then had a nice relaxing hot bath in the lava at Mt. Doom.

That was long.

I myself can't remember to have ever dreamt about anything lotr related, but a collegue of mine, who doesn't care about lotr at all, had a lotr dream...
We are expecting a new collegue to come work with us, and last night she dreamt it was "that stupid hobbit from Scotland"...
