We have a number of AWOL presenters and some unclaimed awards. We will wind up the Awards show by around 5:00pm EDT tomorrow, so get your posts up.

Question: Exactly what awards are being given? I was never quite sure on that...

Award idea: Fad award! For Boromir the Disco King, Balrog Wings, Alecake and the like.

The awards were kept secret...I like the element of surprise! Most of the speeches have been really funny. I laughed out loud at Helkahothion's "Yeah Whatever" song. Great stuff. smilies/biggrin.gif smilies/biggrin.gif

What has happened to the Birthday Party thread.....has it gone for good?

I volunteered to present before the awards started but I never got a PM about it (telling me what I was presenting and to whom).

opps have i missed it then?? oh well, i'll pay more attention next time! unless we have an after show party?? that could be fun judging by the awards themselves.

The Party thread is closed and has been moved to Elvenhome.

On the first day of the Awards Show we PMed a number of members asking them to present awards. About half have failed to respond, so we put further awards on hold, hoping that the AWOL members would catch up.

If you have been asked to present an award, please do so today. If you volunteered but were not contacted, we apologize. We may send out some final requests today.

Blah...I missed the party.

Not to sound rather stupid but oh my goodness! Thank you so much for the Downie! I had resigned myself, as I said, to sitting with Ransom, maybe cheering if he got an award, and just giving good old-fashioned cheers for everyone else.

I promise I'll be here for next year's party though: I'm not playing softball next year.

Okay...I'm a bit confused. People are 'leaving' the awards show, does that mean it is really over? Just tell me, as of today, are there any awards left? I am confused.

Yes. It was cute smilies/smile.gif ! I thought it was over a few days ago, so I had stopped coming until I suddenly had a funny urge to look it over(?) and see how many awards had been given out, then I relized I could've been there for a few more days or so smilies/frown.gif , oh well, it was fun!
