Gil-Galad 12-07-2003 10:47 AM

Tuor Turambar,Cursed by the Valar 12-08-2003 01:08 PM

A guess:

Tol-in-Guarhoth (where Sauron was in the first age)

A widow maker I’m called, (don't know yet)
Not seen until I strike, The werewolf
Men who cross me are beyond hope, except one Beren
unconditional love; Luthien

Estanesse 12-09-2003 06:25 AM

Telchar your turn.

Telchar 12-10-2003 03:01 PM

Name two people for whom 'The caragdur' meant their death.

Lasgalen 12-11-2003 01:54 AM

One was Eol. Was the other Maeglin?

Telchar 12-11-2003 04:09 PM

Those were the two I was looking for - proceed, please

Lasgalen 12-12-2003 01:46 AM

I suppose I could be considered a bad guy because I enslaved a hero who was the father of a hero.

Nilpaurion Felagund 12-12-2003 02:46 AM

Morgoth enslaved(in a sort of way) Húrin, father of Túrin...

Lasgalen 12-12-2003 04:52 PM

Morgoth was a definite bad guy, but not the one I am looking for.

The Saucepan Man 12-12-2003 07:02 PM

Thranduil? He imprisoned Gloin, father of Gimli.

Not a bad guy really, but he did let his love for gold get the better of him.

Lasgalen 12-12-2003 10:35 PM

No. Not Thranduil. I enslaved someone who was the same race as me.

Gil-Galad 12-13-2003 01:46 PM

The Sons of Feanor enslaved Elros and Elrond, Elros was ancestor to Aragorn or Elrond becasue Arwen was a hero i na way.. oh yah Ellrohir and Elladan saved Celebrian.. they whould be considered heroes

Lasgalen 12-15-2003 02:05 AM

Lorgan is what I was looking for!!!

Gil-Galad 12-16-2003 06:07 PM

Telchar... your go

Telchar 12-16-2003 07:17 PM

This bad guy betrayed the people where he lived - was kicked out - then then worked for another bad guy - but was again kicked out - who?

Finwe 12-17-2003 10:42 AM

Smeagol?

Lasgalen 12-17-2003 02:18 PM

Grima? He betrayed the people of Rohan and got kicked out.

Telchar 12-18-2003 05:01 PM

Neither!

Finwe 12-19-2003 09:47 AM

Estanesse 12-21-2003 08:11 AM

Samwise 12-21-2003 08:39 AM

Grima Wormtoungue? Or was that said?
[EDIT] Oop. It was said. Okay, just to be different--Lotho Sackville-Baggins.

Telchar 12-21-2003 09:08 AM

Bill Ferny is correct
please proceed Estanesse

Estanesse 12-22-2003 01:20 PM

Thanks Telchar

This one is very easy.
I was a live in the first age but not as long as my father.

Elrond of Rivendell 12-22-2003 01:56 PM

My guess would be Maeglin who lived 320-510 (I), whereas his father Eol lived until 345 (I) and was born before The First Age.
Greetings,
EfR

Added: Okay, I see now that I probably have misinterpreted the question. "not as long as" ... does this refer to the fact that the son died before the father or to the fact that the father simply lived longer than his son, the latter nevertheless dying after the former?

<font size=1 color=339966>[ 3:01 PM December 22, 2003: Message edited by: Elrond of Rivendell ]

Estanesse 12-22-2003 04:05 PM

Wrong answer but as you remarked, this is because you misinterpreted the question.

Finwe 12-22-2003 04:35 PM

Hurin, because he was shorter than his father?

Estanesse 12-23-2003 05:56 AM

This is a Bad Guy Trivia

Gil-Galad 12-23-2003 11:07 AM
