Fili Ori Oin Bofur Balin [ August 28, 2002: Message edited by: The Rip Designs Dude ] |
Balin was the only one who was Lord of Moria?

Incorrect - Tilion was a Maia !
Didn't know that...Sorry.
Eonwe is the only one without an 'L'in his name. |
Eonwë did not follow Oromë ??
First they say you´re a hottie in the 'show me your true self'-threat - but you're not only hot - you're also 100% on the mark go on.
You're flattering me ! Please, go on . . .
Gandalf Aragorn Galadriel Theoden Frodo Merry All but one of these did something that was supposed to be perilous. EDIT: Hey ! 500 posts !!! [ October 01, 2002: Message edited by: Turambar ] |
Was Galadriel the only one who didn't face a nazgul? I'm not sure if she did or didn't though. Oh well.
Nope that wasn't it. Good guess though.
I'm taking a stab in the dark, but is Galadriel out because she wasn't faced with the 'voice of Saruman'?
Off on a limb here: Boromir and Gimli both considered Lothlorien to be perilous/dangerous, so I will guess...
Theoden was the only one who never entered/lived in/whatever Lothlorien. |
alaklondewen-- Are you sure ?
HINT: alaklondewen is close, but he has the wrong "odd man out".
Aragorn maybe for never speaking 'to' Saruman?
Okay, unless my mind is failing me and Merry didn't go with the rest to speak with Saruman. (I wish I had my books with me) Is Frodo out? When he spoke with Saruman, his voice was no longer powerful. Am I closer?
My answer had no response to Saruman, what he said or the power of his voice, just simply the fact that they uttered words to him (Saruman)
Yes, Telchar has it -- Aragorn never spoke to Saruman. I always found it odd that Aragorn remained silent in "The Voice of Saruman".
Sorry the hint might have been misleading, since it was hearing Saruman, not speaking to him, that was really dangerous. But I thought that no one would get it without some hint. [ October 04, 2002: Message edited by: Turambar ] |
ok
Merry Bilbo Sam Frodo Pippin ... it's a lil tricky... |
This was a hard one!
Sam is their father...he named a child each Frodo, Bilbo, Pippin, and Merry. (I've already got confirmation.) Hm... Glorfindel Merry Boromir Eärnur Aragorn |
Was Glorfiiindel the only one to have seen the First Age?
Eärnur wasn't involved in the Quest for the Ring in any way?
