Just to get the few Yes' in line:

Alatariel 01-29-2004 06:42 AM

Is he in Fellowship of the Ring?

Finwe 01-29-2004 11:20 AM

Does this male Elf give advice?

If so,

Is it Gildor Inglorion?

The Saucepan Man 01-29-2004 12:18 PM

Is this Elf a member of a royal household?

If so, is the answer Thranduil's wine-guzzling butler, Galion?

Celegorm 01-29-2004 01:32 PM

To make it short:
The Saucepan Man is right, I wasn't thinking of someone in LotR, but about Galion of The Hobbit.

Please go on, Saucepan Man.

The Saucepan Man 01-30-2004 03:33 AM

20 Questions on ME, Volume II

This is a continuation of the 20 Questions thread, which was closed due to length.

The rules of the game, as originally posted by Telchar, are as follows:

Quote:

OK here is a new idea! Instead of asking a question I will think of an answer. The answer can be a Person, a place, an event or an item of ME - then its up to you guys to ask questions - BUT ONLY questions that can be answered YES or NO - that way you can make your way to the correct answer.
The one that first guesses what I am thinking of, has earned the right to 'think of the next answer' .

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE:

Is it a person? - NO
Is it a object? - YES
Is it a building? - NO
Is it a weapon? - NO
Was it possesed by a man in the 3rd age? - NO
Was it made in the 1st age? - NO
Was it made in Valinor? - YES
Was it made by Fëanor? - YES

IS IT A SILMARIL? - YES!!!

And so on and so on... Remember that the clues that you achieve can be read by everyone - so though you may be really really close, someone else may pass you by and find the correct answer...
The person who correctly answered the last question on the previous thread may go first, which is ... uh ... me.

So, ask away ...
