If so:

I am assuming that Morgoth and Feanor were acquanited after Morgoth (Melkor) had been pardoned by Manwe. That is the impression that I have. But, if not:

Ar-Pharazon -> Sauron -> Morgoth -> Finwe -> Feanor -> Mahtan

Either of those are quite acceptable, I think...

(My solution was Ar-Pharazon-> Sauron-> Celebrimbor-> Curufin-> Nerdanel-> Mahtan, so I suppose Sauron & Morgoth are legitimate [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img])

I don't really know if there was interaction between Saruman and Thengel, but I would think there was, since it was during Thengel's reign that Saruman pronounced himself Lord of Isengard and Theoden refers to Saruman's friendship with Rohan in LotR.
